Yes, there is a little hash mark on the cam gear and the crank gear that serve as your timing marks. sometimes it can be a little dimple in it too) Line those 2 things up when inserting the crank and spin it over and make sure that the 4 cycles work as they should and that you aren't 90 or 180 degrees off or something and you should be all good!
