I'm so glad you made this video, Rock of Ages Kennels showed proof of the authentication of this dog back in the 70,s ...they do have long mussels like the dobie,,, I have two males AL Capone and John Dillinger,,, these dogs are amazing, great attention span, awareness, loyalty, kindness to family members, just don't let your grand kids hug and kiss them, they will not pay you anymore attention when they come around
The thing is, it's hard to fundamentally standardize a breed in a corporate society that doesn't necessarily need more dogs, i think that America needs to introduce more already existing breeds before creating more, things in my country ( located in north africa) are getting tougher and the potential introduction of a new breed that is a mastiff and doesn't consume alot of food "can survive on little to no protein" might help develop our dog breeding lifestyle/philosophy into a healthy direction. My question is : why not populaires an already well-rounded Beauceron?
It’s going to be a very long time before the Canis Panther becomes fully recognized in the United States. For that to happen, there needs to be a certain amount of dogs born here for a healthy breeding population and they need to have well documented history and stud book/ pedigree records. I’ll probably either be an old man or long dead by the time that happens. It is important to strike a balance between creating new dog breeds and introducing already existing dog breeds to a country. Creating new breeds (when done responsibly) can address specific needs and preferences. Perform specific tasks and fulfill the needs of certain jobs. At the same time it’s important to maintain the conservation of already existing breeds and introducing them helps enrich the local dog population. The Beauceron is fully recognized by the AKC. I agree that they are often looked over but popularity can be a double edged sword in America with the large presence of backyard breeders. A lot of breed clubs don’t want their breed to be mainstream because it can harm their health and integrity.
@allgoodbossdogtraining you're right, let's take malinios as an example. People went crazy with them, they don't even care if it's pure breed or not (unable to know what a pure breed even means), many people made crazy 💸, however, now people for some reason can't handle these dogs after the hype, I guess crossing malinios w/ bully breeds isn't a wise choice
Yeah it’s a real shame the damage done to the Malinois breed. And so many ended up in rescues after John Wick 2 came out. People got hyped up about them just to find they don’t have what takes to provide for their needs
If you legitimately want to know more... reach out to me. I was the president of the Canis Panther Club of America... Founded it...eventually disbanded it because I feel the breed needs work before becoming a real club. I am close with Scorpio Jones little brother Tim Jones and we are working together to return the breed to it's original intent

Dogs can be developed to need less food... they do it for chickens and other animals, but the question is, what do you give up?
