Love that pose at the end. Nice video. Yesterday I tried this sort of fix with a non toy toilet paper holder. Don't know if it will work, but would never have tried if I didn't watch this channel. :)
I figured when I saw this video you be using plumber tape. I just fixed a few things on my own too. My dino riders stegosaurus. The posts on the guns were broken off. so I took a 1mm drill drilled hols in both ends. Took some super glue. & I took part of paper clip too. Glued it into the armor part. & I slid the other end to the hole. in the guns. Now they turn again. Same thing happened with my action master inferno. when I was replacing the o ring. the hook metal hook. Broke off the axel. Then I saw a paper clip. I wrapped it around the axel. bent it made a hook. & That worked .also another tip if you buy zip ties clear. Just melt them down too. Using a spoon, Candle. Yeah that paper clip worked great for a replacement hook.
Another great and quick repair tip!👍👍 Thanks. One question, will the tape come unwrapped or just tear into pieces and come undone from the joint? Thanks again
So when’s the best time to use PTFE Tape and the best time to use Elastic Shirring? I ask because I know that you used the elastics for bumblebee and other minibots and I’m wondering how you decide which to use when.
Hi Dave - have you ever done a video on Small Soldiers and, in particular, the 12 inch talking figures? I've just scored the Chip Hazard figure for my son (grown up but still talks about his figure being left round the child minder's!!!!) but the push button no longer works - hoping your skills extend to a fix?!!!
I like the furniture polish method, but those arms were too loose for that fix, in my opinion. Great fix, Dave!
Thanks 👍
Coming from a family of plumbers, this was always called T-tape or teflon tape. Very useful stuff for toy collectors.
So simple, cheap, and effective. Absolutely Perfect?
Well done,Sir Dave.

I just use clear acrylic paint (satin finish). Apply it with a small brush, and let dry. The figure comes out as new.
This is exactly how I fix my loose arms except I use food cling wrap…. Either way it’s a flawless fix
Sweet now that is a very easy fix to fix he man figures.
Another great and quick repair tip!👍👍 Thanks.

No it will last for ages. Cheers
Have you ever fix a John blackstar action figures legs
No, not something I collect at the moment.
I would love to hear your take on removing superglue from these figures. I have an Extrendar and the previous owner superglued his legs in place :(
It's a pain. Carefully pick it off. And high grit sandpaper to remove small parts. There are super glue removers but they damage the plastic.

Depends on the joint and how easy access you have to it.
Do you think this would work well on a vintage Trap Jaw's neck? Mine is like a bobblehead. 😂
Worth a try. But maybe hard to hide the tape.

I haven't. I'm not great with more modern electronics.
@@toypolloi 1998 - modern (😂)?!!! - illusion shattered!!!
Thanks anyway 😊
I was thinking of doing this to my blue beard stratos but i'm scared it might hurt the figure because I got it for 4 dollars in a dollar bin.
Warm the arms up a bit in just boiled water so they are softer.
