Thanks for showing this. My vintage Hordak's legs fell off because the band broke, and I have about 8-10 figures with loose legs. Otherwise in fantastic shape in terms of paint and appearance.
Glad I could help!
Thank you very much for doing this video. Spikor and King Hiss always have jacked up legs 🦵. This will come in handy reparing those funky legs.
Happy to help!
Easy fix and great products
yes
I like it. As always great work Sir
I appreciate that
Thank you for this nice video. What is the best way to remove black marker ink from these figures, thank you.
Isopropyl alcohol but be careful as it strips paint.
Thanks for the tutorial - you made that look EASY! Would I be correct in assuming that 145 number, on your little pad there, is the Fahrenheit u want the water to be?
yep, the water works best at 205 deg. F
@@HeBroTV where can i get that heating plate t?
Hi there....where'd you order those particular bands from? I saw them on a site called Green Castle in the UK but I figure there's a closer source...
Can you do a demo of how to open the torsos on the vintage figures? I’ve been successful doing the hammer tap method part of the time, but have cracked a few figures also. Wondering if there’s a better way or technique. Thanks!
There are better ways, you need to buy a cut resistant glove and use an exacto knife. Very dangerous if you slip. Personally it's not worth the risk, but I have seen others do it, and I've seen some get hurt in the process. Basically you cut along the seam then it makes it break easier where you want it to.
@He-bro Does these work for sorceress to? If not, do you know where i can get those?
you needs to get the smaller ones for the female figures.
I bought a packet of 10 but only managed to fix 5 as I broke 5. Pulling the head with pliers breaks them.
Yes, they can break easy, just like the real ones.
Do those leg connectors work on Teela and Evil-Lyn as well?
No, but they do make smaller ones for the female figures
@@HeBroTV Thanks, looks like I'll be checking them out.
He-Bro can show a video of how fix your origins figures if you when are broken and don’t extra body how fix them
Good idea
i recommend he hips instead of he bands they are so much easier to replace with those.
Thanks for the info
What's the water for ?
It's hot water over 205 deg F, to soften the rubber/plastic.
@@HeBroTV thanks, where do I get the leg bands? I have over 30 vintage he-man figures and I need to fix teela and man-e-faces leg bands. Teela's legs are disconnected and man e faces are loose.

You should do a video for MOTU female figures
Good idea
Im taking notes i have bought some vintage motu figures i wanna repair some of my figures legs
Why not warm up the band? To make it more malleable
That is an option, I Usually do that with donor parts
Anyone who knows my rubbers from Germany knows that these are better. That's not what I'm saying, it's the collectors
