Nice fix, I always struggle with getting it through the hole without breaking the little tab that keeps the rubber band pushed back so the legs aren’t wonky
That’s why I bought the smallest pair of pliers I could find. From what I saw before trying this, it looked like getting the rubber band through the hole and into the second leg would have been a serious pain. The smaller tools definitely help.
I bought curved pliers at harbor frieght to push rubber into leg
