Yes, by the looks of it, Sans and Papy are likely killing time in purgatory by singing show toons. Pretty accurate for them to do.
12:22 sans mentions in grillbys that Papyrus has started to talk with a "talking flower" telling him constantly good things and etc
Sans believes someone is trying to make some kind of joke tho as they used a ECHO flower for this
The thing is that people related flowey to Papyrus has "he has done everything" one of the possibilities being friend of Papyrus and he has been using a echo flower for this (probably Papyrus never saw flowey at all in that route)
Sans mentions Papyrus hangs out with a talking flower, while it's never said by him or shown ingame Sans and even Flowey himself mention Papyrus atleast hanged out with Flowey.
Flowey in his aftermath after his boss fight (you gotta do this REPEATELY for different dialogue) He mentions Papyrus as one of his favourites and took awhile to get bored of him. So yes Papyrus indeed befriended a flower.
You can say f that flower whatever you want, until you find out his whole backstory. Flowey is great character
Flowey is my favorite Undertale character but FUCK him, he is not Asriel at all, he tortured and killed a child hundreds of time (Frisk in neutral), killed his mom and dad without regret in probably many runs, etc. This flower doesn't deserve mercy

@@scalesthebattlemage4634 Yeah but i mean that Flowey does not feel at all like Asriel, sure there's some things but almost all the time he feels like a completely different person that i just can't consider the both to be the same, basically a case of dissociative identity disorder. While i forgive Asriel, Flowey can go to hell
@charlioanimations234 you didn't watch genocide route. Where's more than flowey being soulless. I mean imagine you lost your soul, you're trying to spend months with your family to feel something, but it doesn't working, and then like a real undertale player, did all possibilities in neutral and pacifist route several times, until he got bored, and then started killing for an interest, what's gonna happen if you kill everyone but you don't wanna do this. He thinks like a real undertale player.

Papyrus actually is friends with Flowey. This is based on Sans's dialogs at Grillby's and Flowey's dialogs after you get the neutral ending multiple times in a row. Flowey seems to always gives Papyrus "flattery... advice... *predictions* " . Flowey seems to have an okay-ish relationship with Papyrus while also really hate and wary of Sans.
Papyrus is kinda the only person who Flowey still likes, other than Chara.
@@mr.monotonyofdiversity2573 He doesn't like him, he just sees him an easy target to manipulate, maybe Toby at some point had planned to do something special with him, but in the end he just left it as a "speculation starter" and then the community created Disbelief Papyrus.

And we have winter alarm clock dialogues, where we see that Flowey is hanging out with Papyrus and wearing scarf that this skeleton gifted him.

So unless Flowey was using Echo Flowers to talk to Papyrus then it doesn't make sans
@@Kowery105 Sans thought it was an echo flower because he hadn't seen Flowey, Papyrus only told him that he was talking with a flower, It is a misunderstanding.
Djsmell has a ton of killer Undertale content. A true classic for veteran fans such as I.
I feel a situation this could be from, is if Undyne told Papyrus he couldn’t join the royal guard. So Sans is settin it straight to him and cheerin him up
