That was probably the most beautiful ending to any MCU movie or series. I shed a few tears, knowing Loki sacraficed everything for love of hos friends, and humanity, and ended up alone. His worst fear.
Kinda sad now because he won’t be shown again But I would like if he projects himself to offer advise and stuff or motivate people or even if he meets people somehow or even show him for a second even through a reference… I don’t want them to completely end him off now without even mentioning him

He said he wanted a throne, but never really wanted it because it would tie him down. Now he has chosen to sit on one that ties him down in every way thinkable for all eternaty. His goodbye face before he entered the portal to the end of time really gutted me. And that lonely face at the end. He can hear his friends, but never meet them ever again. Alone for all eternaty. It really made me wanted me to hug him. A glorious but sad ending. It does make me curious how they are going to integrate him in some of the upcoming movies. Also curious about the behind the scenes of this scene. There is nothing but the floor with some steps, perhaps the music and that's it. That was some serious acting there. And acting like that, will inspire the CGI crew to give it their extremely best to do their work. Combined it gave this piece of art. Glorious.

Loki finally ascends to a throne-it’s just not the one he had once dreamt of. The God of Mischief is now the God of Stories. So awesome to see the new loom as Yggdrasil, the World’s Tree.
In the scene when Thor and Loki are children in Thor 1, when Odin said "only one will ascend to the throne, but you were both born to be kings" he never lied. Plus he said THE throne as in the Asgardian throne, he never gave away that they will BOTH have A throne (No one else could have done a better job than Tom Hiddleston)
He basically became Atlez, the custodian of the multiverse. To monitor the realities on his throne forever so they don’t get destroyed until replaced, but by who and how. Cannot wait. Loki has become the main character of mcu to me.
It's a bit different. Atlas was punished to hold the Universe on his shoulders, for having rebelled against Olympus. Loki self-sacrificed for all of us.
The multiverse is infinite there might be another loki variant that can take his place but asgardians/frost giants do live for thousands of years so theres time

Feel like this scene is in direct contrast to the final scene in Thor on the rainbow bridge. In that scene Loki wanted a selfish throne, but here he chose a sacrificial throne. Powerful story telling and I hope Marvel continues with more of this.

The god of stories, story arc from him walking to loom and then up to throne at the end was 1:1 with the panels in the comic book which is rare when they recreate something like that so faithfully loved it... i've always been a huge loki fan the moment he joined the mcu was one of the best days of my life!
You know this is pretty cool how he doesn't turn into his princely Loki vestments from Avengers or Thor 1 but a much more simple garments that's all green except for his horns which are more black with a little bit of gold in them showing this is a more humble and less lordly kind of Loki

Which means it took him more than centuries to catch up to HWR.
Loki doing the walk on the bridge having the temporal energy come towards him reminds me of the scene from X-men The Last Stand where Wolverine confronts The Phoenix
Now you realise why his stepmom always loved him no matter what. Remember she always knew what's really hidden as she knew with fat thor being from future. So she always probably knew loki's glorious purpose. Also the irony is crazy how tom wanted to play thor but got loki instead & he is now infinite times more powerful & important than thor. 😂👏

A part of me broke for Loki when he did this. It was epic but he never got those years with Thor, he just found friends and worked so hard to stay with them and keep them safe only to give up his own happiness and chance at a happy ending since it was the only way to keep his friends and all the innocent lives on the timelines safe. He sacrificed himself to keep everyone safe, whatever he knows them or not. He went from a war waging tyrant to a selfless god who did what he needed to keep everyone safe.

Natasha has "a lot of Red in her ledger", Bucky was a Hydra meat puppet for 70 years, and Tony freaking Stark nearly caused the EXTINCTION of the human race because of Ultron. But...they're the good guys??? Loki was tortured and mind controlled. But HE needs "redemption"???Loki is FINALLY depicted using the amazing powers he's ALWAYS had at his disposal, but for some reason Marvel keeps giving him little knives. And what do they do to him? I'm a bit salty. Why does Loki have to REPEATEDLY suffer, REPEATEDLY "pay" for his actions when NONE of the other Avengers had to? Banner/Hulk destroyed Harlem. Natasha has "a lot of Red in her ledger", Bucky was a Hydra meat puppet for 70 years, and Tony freaking Stark nearly caused the EXTINCTION of the human race because of Ultron. But...they're the good guys??? Loki was tortured and mind controlled. But HE needs "redemption"???Loki is FINALLY depicted using the amazing powers he's ALWAYS had at his disposal, but for some reason Marvel keeps giving him little knives. And what do they do to him? They give him the Throne he's NEVER wanted, and make it so that the one thing he's afraid of...being alone...is exactly how he's doomed to spend eternity. None of the people who have vilified him will ever know they only exist at his pleasure. NOT. FAIR.
