For me, her squeak really suits the song as it says she wants to let go but her heart doesnt want to . Its like a cry for desperation and helplessness .

BINGO Beth! Morissette is one of the few singers i've seen in a loooong time who is actually a singer with a wonderful actress inside. She understands the "event" of the lyrics. Her story telling is superb. So wonderful to see you reacting to Morissette again. May I recommend her recent drop...Bruno Mars Medley. NO SITTING! Hahahahaha

This song, GKNB was originated sung by another singer in cebu, but unfortunately, she can't revolver to heat up and turn the song popularity. Until, recently a tv series talking about broken marriage vow and Morissette was officially appointed to revise this song for their OST. Bcoz of Morissette, this song become very popular and trendy around the world.

Her father trained her how to sing but her mother taught her a 'meditation-like-state' in music. She needs to understand the story of the song close to her heart. She needs to become the song to convey the passion. She abhors sycophancy, a false appearance of devotion. She was really exhausted after that at first, but later she can comeback to her natural self after the song.
That why Morissette is living legendary. The way she interpret the songs is always different from others.
A year ago there was one reactor who saw this. His channel JHT reacts. He reacted morissette's never enough on wishbus. He said that morissette was smiling at first but she gets into her zone when she was about to start and at the end morissette turned back to human mode. Better check that reaction, he's an old guy but he has the ability to see beyond the obvious! It's amazing.
