I’d also be very interested to see someone with her stature as the smallest of the bunch in a powerhouse role. The rest I’m sure could give competent performances but just don’t seem to bring anything special to the table for this character.

Obviously not Nando, but it could go either way. It really depends on how they want to do the Multiversal stuff for DC when they get around to it since Power Girl is a Multiversal Supergirl. Do they want to do it more like having most or all of a characters Variants be the same actor, or do they want to go more in the direction of each Variant is played by someone different. Basically, it's too soon to tell, but potentially yes and potentially no.
Sight unseen I would pick Milly but whoever has the best audition process should supercede obviously, may the best gal win. (and not *that* Gal) (when this movie was first announced my first thought and tweet was "you know who'd crush this, milly alcock" if it happens you're welcome haha)
Molly Alcock can literally play anyone. She’s a very young and gifted actress, but I have to say, what a miss, if Sony hasn’t already contracted her for a live action Gwen Stacy. I do think she would do good with Warner Bros as well, although that is her original family, so I’m sure they’ll treat her right too. Then she’s the perfect age already for Supergirl, so in the end it’s a win-win for Molly.
Isn’t she also going to be Abby in season 2 of the last of us, so clearly Hollywood thinks she can play vengeful, and she’s already been supergirl so she’s the pick for a vengeful supergirl
I feel like if you had watched The Winchesters you might feel differently. I just never felt like she never quite got in the groove doing that show and I didn't believe her performance. Might not have been the actress; could've been the writing... It's hard to say.
That doesn't to me cause while Meg is the current voice of the character none of the Creature Commandos actors previously had that type of role at least not for the most part
@@veggiewillymass What I mean is that knowing she’s capable of voicing the character gives her such a huge advantage here. From what I understand about voice acting, just because you can act in live action doesn’t mean you can do adequate voice work. But, I could be wrong here
Don't get me wrong but why do you say that race-swaping and gender-swaping a character or as some people call it "checking the boxes" is being creative?? I personally think finding actors that look like and resemble the characters as they are in the comics is even harder.
Plus you created "why ?" questions , if you want to represent communities ( which is not a problem ) use the characters that are already in that community or create new ones, that way you have a character that you can do whatever the f you want , that way everybody wins (well majority but that's normal) the community is represented the left group is happy and the right group will be " well we have a new character for the left group , but they didn't change a character just for politics , that's win " .
I hope it's not gonna be a girl boss feminist movie. We've seen how Marvel and Star Wars crashed and burned. Just make a good story. Have her have flaws and learn to overcome them in a hero's journey.
There was a black Batman and I thought that was a great comic ... he's the son of Lucius Fox and takes the mantle after he dies and Bruce takes him under his wing

Man, imagine them making a Fantastic Four movie without actually deciding who to cast. We just never see faces lmao. Vin Diesel, for how not amazing he seems as a normal actor, is shockingly great at voicing characters so that's probably my Ben Grimm lol. Let's pretend he's not already in the MCU.
I think a female booster gold would be awesome! Keep the personality and all!
I like Meg but the version they are going for it’ll be milly which I’m fine with because I been reading woman of tomorrow on dc infinite it’s really good
Hey Nando, do you think when casting Super Girl, we need to consider we're also casting a potential Power Girl at the same time?
Obviously not Nando, but it could go either way. It really depends on how they want to do the Multiversal stuff for DC when they get around to it since Power Girl is a Multiversal Supergirl. Do they want to do it more like having most or all of a characters Variants be the same actor, or do they want to go more in the direction of each Variant is played by someone different.
Basically, it's too soon to tell, but potentially yes and potentially no.
Sight unseen I would pick Milly but whoever has the best audition process should supercede obviously, may the best gal win. (and not *that* Gal)
(when this movie was first announced my first thought and tweet was "you know who'd crush this, milly alcock" if it happens you're welcome haha)
Maybe Sony did contact her to play Gwen Stacy. And she said 'No'. Like a sane person would.
Isn’t she also going to be Abby in season 2 of the last of us, so clearly Hollywood thinks she can play vengeful, and she’s already been supergirl so she’s the pick for a vengeful supergirl
I think Milly would make a great Ruthye
im starting to get weirdly early
I feel like if you had watched The Winchesters you might feel differently. I just never felt like she never quite got in the groove doing that show and I didn't believe her performance. Might not have been the actress; could've been the writing... It's hard to say.
I’d prefer Milly from HOD
I never understood the whole need to do race swapping. It's SO disrespectful to the original character
Didn’t James Gun also say he wants the same actor to do live action and voice in the animated projects? To me, that almost guarantees Meg will win
That doesn't to me cause while Meg is the current voice of the character none of the Creature Commandos actors previously had that type of role at least not for the most part
But it's a different universe right? Maybe he will think twice about mixing all that
@@veggiewillymass What I mean is that knowing she’s capable of voicing the character gives her such a huge advantage here. From what I understand about voice acting, just because you can act in live action doesn’t mean you can do adequate voice work. But, I could be wrong here

is pedro pascal really mr fantastic and eddie munson really johnny:(
We have no idea. Those are the rumors going around, but we don't have any definitive yes or no on those.
Thank the lord this man nando has no casting power in hollywood 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Meg mypick or house of dragon 2 pick
i’m a huge fan of , if it doesn’t add to the character , why keep default white
Okay, look this is gonna sound leftist af, but his casting is the most white I've ever seen one of these universes

But people will still call it woke.
Unrelated but on the race swap topic. I keep getting an itch for an Asian American Batman…idk why. Just something my brain thinks is cool
There was a black Batman and I thought that was a great comic ... he's the son of Lucius Fox and takes the mantle after he dies and Bruce takes him under his wing
Charles Melton would be great for that
Book looks bland af, story and dialog is probably boring to reading the summary is probably more exciting and straight to the point.
