    Yeah great video.
Must have been freezing 🥶looking at the ice on the grass.
The new Parramatta light rail is going to be great for commuters getting around Parramatta and the general public to Westmead Hospital.
I do hope any development with the Cumberland Hospital is sympathetic to the currently buildings.

Thank you! It sure was a cold day and was a real challenge holding the camera out for the duration of the walk. Yes, a much needed transport option for the locals in Westmead, Parramatta, Rosehill and Carlingford areas with hospitals, a uni and other key places encompassing the area

Hi Sean 👋 I think you were accompanied by Jack Frost in this episode judging by the crisp looking green sections. I think the heritage building and the buildings around it were part of the old Cumberland Psychiatric hospital, which was also the Parramatta girls home prior to that. The facility was quite extensive and backed onto the river when it was a psychiatric facility. You will notice that all of Sydney's psychiatric hospitals were built on the harbour because back in the day, "the insane were not permitted to travel on the Kings highway" and were therefore transported on the river. The tram also passes another former psychiatric facility at Rydalmere, which is now part of the Western Sydney University. Excellent video, well done Sean 👏 👍

Thanks John! Hahaha he was with me in spirit. Interesting history about the psychiatric facilities in the area, which I did not know about.
I am aware though about the corridor passing Western Sydney uni near the Yallamuni stop, which should come in handy for students in the area. Thanks for sharing :)

I hope these CAF trams designed for slow, street running can take the stresses and strains of running along a former railway corridor.

The vehicles are so quiet. You could not hear a thing as it was approaching the bridge.
