I believe the first service will be this Tuesday 3/12/24, departing Central at 05:20 hrs for Newcastle replacing a V set.

I thought a 10 car NIF was the same length as an 8 car V set

Platforms 10 &11 were effectively shortened at the terminal end when the new concourse was built. A 10 car D set is about 11 metres longer overall than an 8 car V set. I'm pretty sure they would have "measured twice and built once".

Hello I'm going to be in London in 10 days like tourist. My question is: At minute 11:12 you said that train is circle line and goes toward paddington but is platform 3 and then in platform 2 appears a train goes toward edgware road ( so pass paddington) but is in other direction. I'm confused, because Im thinking take subway from Heathrow to bayswater. Thank you for your answer my friend

Hi Sean 👋 I really enjoyed this short journey, and it brought back memories of the many rides I had on Sydney's double-decker buses when I was a young boy. I didn't venture to the top deck very often as it was the smoking area back then. I hope there's a continuation video of this journey in the near future. Excellent video, well done Sean 👏 👍

Hi Sean 👋 I am sorry that I have missed some of your videos, but I am here now. I am one of the rare people who didn't enjoy the run on S28 and I would have preferred F1 to do that trip. The smells and sounds of the Rattlers in the tunnels would have been a great experience. S28 was very crowded, very hot, and very slow. Excellent video, well done Sean 👏 👍

I loved how there were no T2 Parramatta services during those afternoon weekdays of the Coldplay concerts. I wish it was like this permanently because I never found the T2 Parramatta services necessary especially in the off-peaks. In fact also adding Auburn, Clyde and Burwood as stops as well on the T1 Western Line during those weekdays too.

Great Video I went to Crows Nest today did some metro Spotting I went to catch the bus to St Leonard's station I asked the driver if he stopped there and he said he did but then I realized he didn't stop there So I had to get off at Spit Junction catch the B Line to Wynyard did a bit of train spotting there jumped on a train to St Leonard's then came back to Rooty Hill it was an unexpected Video which I've already released along with the crows nest metro Spotting I wasn't real impressed that happened
