I bought this induction cooktop. The minute I opened the plastic packaging I got nauseated by the smell. Started cooking--the smell did not go away. Don't know why you did not notice.
@@RodrickViews I have had the product for a week now. The smell is surely not as intense but it is still there. Smells toxic. The product was vaccuum packed into plastic. My guess it is the gasses used in the vaccuum packing--but it may be more than that since it is a week and the smell is still there.
