I honestly like the 15mm Drilling more than the Wirbelwind, mainly because it has much longer belts with a great fire rate, but also because it's traverse and turret speed are much better.
I could never seem to hit anything with it. Like I can hit things with .50 BMG handily, and high velocity 20mm I'm ok with, anything else is a crapshoot Plus if my SPAA can defend itself or rip up the flanks late in the game, that's a big plus
@@TheOneWayDown That's funny because I have a hard time aiming the .50 cals when they're on an SPAA, but I can easily pilot snipe from forever away with the .50 on an M10 while moving and slewing the turret; meanwhile the problem with early German 20mm SPAA is that the good HE rounds self-destruct at around 1200-1600m, making it useless because you're usually already dead at that range, so HVAP it is; after many hours of practice, I can hit planes decently far away, but the 37mm is were it's at, with me being nearly point and click good once I'm warmed up.
@shawnf6fhellcat yeah fair, I usually run all AP belts or default belts anyway, they work fine against planes but I can actually defend myself. Full HE belts just don't feel worth it
@@TheOneWayDown I usually like to carry high pen AP for defense and high velocity HE for nuking planes, so I tend to take two different belts since those are almost never shared by one belt.
@@ShawnF6FHellcatthe 37s on the Ostwind II with the nuke HE round are so good once you get used to the lead. The turret rotation speed really sucks for an SPAA that's so vulnerable, so it needs hard cover even more than SPAAs already do.
And waay more needed than people think. Played today and almost all games had one or zero SPAA, so I had to be THE team's one. It was way funnier than I remembered tbh

Gonna be honest, the more I play WT the less I believe this. I think the sweet spot for fun in low tier is like 2.7-4.7. In fact my favorite brs to play are probably 3.3-3.7 and in the complete opposite direction 8.3-8.7. Super low tier the matches are just too long, and since most of the nations are using small caliber solid shot, your gun just doesn't feel powerful

I still use 251/21 at higher tiers cos I can't aim for shit with Ostwind etc. The heavier shells I have no clue how to lead but I'm a sniper with the 251/21😈

I was slugging it in 8.0 and I barely get 3 kills per match. For the event ive it down to 5.3 and my goodness it's so much fun Granted theres more planes but thats fine
low tier is fun tier because: 1. players are almost equal, no thermals, no stabilizer, no 10-12km atgm and SAM 2. players respawn more often, making battles longer 3. stock grind hardly affect vehicles that much, most of the time stock shell is enough (if its not solid AP) 4. its not full of tryhard crybabies who constantly whine about WR when their overhyped tank not perform like in the movies or in the propaganda
