Love how the Japanese top tier goes from playing careful and calm with the Type 74s to hyper aggressive shoot your way out of everything with that 4sec reload.
That’s pretty much how it goes for the most part you become hyper aggressive. And it’s mostly because you want to unlock all the mbt’s keep in mind. There is 3 11.0 tanks and 2 11.7 tanks your line up gets stacked but you are always playing aggressively to assert your dominance.
It was a very tough transition for me, the whole japanese tech tree really requires a careful and methodical second line playstyle, and then you get to the Type 90s and its BANZAIIIII! So completely different from the rest of the tech tree
Challenges of New Millennium In the mid-1990s, after the introduction of the previous TKX-1, Type 90 MBT, the Ministry of Defense soon realised that, despite its superior FCS even for NATO standards, further upgrading the Type 90 would be impractical (for the time being) due to its already heavy weight in Japan's standards; while the previous Type 61 Medium Tank had no chance when facing even the earliest MBTs and Type 74 MBT was too costly to be upgraded. The possible rivals of Japan, like Mainland China and the Russia Federation had already developed their new MBTs (PLAGF ZTZ96 and ZTZ99/Russian T-90A); in view of maintaining a team of tank designers as well as a part of national defense, JGSDF passed a new plan for a next-generation MBT with redundancy for further upgrades (modularity), thus inherited the project name: TKX-2. A JGSDF Type 10 at Camp Takeyama, Japan. From Kyumaru to Hitomaru The TKX-2 project aimed for the light weight of a Type 74 (at 40 tons, loaded) while being smaller than Type 90, equipping a domestic 120 mm smoothbore gun with latest C4ISR system, modular composite armour, and new engines paired with HMT transmission. TKX-2 was led by the TRDI with help from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The new smoothbore gun and its new APFSDS were developed by Nippon Steel Corporation and Daikin Industries respectively. These designs were tested on a Tank Test Bed (TTB) developed from the 6th prototype of Type 90 and was first shown in a booklet in the early 2000s; the result of TTB proved the designs and project TKX-2 started in 2002. The 1st prototype was assembled in November 2004 and tested at JGSDF Camp Higashi-Chitose; MHI built the 2nd prototype in 2005, while there were also 3 Type 90s converted as the test bed for tank platoon command systems. Finally, with the evaluations from JGSDF Fuji School, Ordnance School, and leaked photos of the 2nd prototype, the TKX-2 was unveiled on 14 June 2010 to the public during the opening of JGSDF East Fuji Manoeuvre Area and it was then named Type 10 in October. It served as the most advanced MBT of the first decade of the 2000s, and is an icon of the JGSDF moving forward into the 21st century.
@@IvanBaturaChannel it obviously depends on the materials and situation but the majority of the time a little chain link fence isn’t going to stop a heat round, and if you believe it will please go in your backyard or to your nearest chain link fence and let a 120mm heat round fly at you. I’m willing to bet you’d not be standing there anynore
supposed to have a 2 second reload, but that's probably gonna get added in the next update when it will probably be moved up to rank VIII in ground forces
3 seconds if you are aiming straight, the more up or down you aim longer the reload... Search for Type 10 reaload on youtube, you can see it. It has to move a gun to the level position. Also in game we have 44 tons which is weight with armor package, we have no armor package modelled. It is air and paper with 4 sec reload, cause Gaijub can't make variable reload time nor make proper transmition, hence why Type 90 moves faster than Type 10, cause it has more horsepower. More modern transmitions do not exist in world of Gaijub. Snail can't make wheels turn on wheeled vehicles, we need 4 line highway to turnaround with Type16 (and any other wheeled tonk), even tho we can see Type16 driving in small urban areas of Japan. :D
I feel like when the HEAT is only good at taking out aircraft, Gaijin should really consider utilizing other options for stock rounds. I mean this shit struggled with anything but soft vehicles from the side (not the front apparently).
Hello Malzi, the truth is I love your videos and I always wait for the next one, I would love it if in some of your videos you could play an Argentine song called (2 minutos ultra violento) I hope you like it
Wait, did before update TKX using 105mm gun am i wrong or its correct? Because before change it to Type 87 RCV Line TKX as i remember using 105mm Cannon
The day this amazing machine gets it's armor packages (featured first on the actual TKX and later utilized on the Type 10) will make this thing more terrifying than the Leopard 2A6.
You're upset people will complain about the balance of what is essentially Leopard 2A6 with a 4 second reload? Gee I wonder why they'd complain@@flawfull_wolf
@@CrazyDutchguys War Thunder is like a politician, they'll only stay accurate to the facts when it supports their agenda. In this particular instance it's the armor of the TKX and Type 10.
Thing is. Gaijin actually admits that they try to stick to historically accurate performance UNLESS it creates a significant gameplay balance problem. Giving them the proper armour would make them OP as fuck so they added them with decreased performance. Otherwise Japan would have jack shit at top tier because they wouldnt have those vehicles added. We might see them get their proper packages once newer vehicles get added to the game next patch@@flawfull_wolf
as someone whose played 11.0 japan I prefer the type 90 of the type 10 prototype simply because its stupidly fast, I will say that the 4 second autoloader is bit overrated considering you'll often be facing top tier with dm33, the 11.7 type 10/tkx is much better because it gets a very competitive round.
Love how the Japanese top tier goes from playing careful and calm with the Type 74s to hyper aggressive shoot your way out of everything with that 4sec reload.

Malzi is the best Facebook video maker I've seen.

You know its a good video when he pulls out the wedding music.
I love how malzi reacts when chobham armour completely deflects heat shells, the shells they were designed to stop.
For classic music - thank you Ssssir
