My hometown is Malacca, I was from the Hakkaa village. You haven't tasted their buns, hamchar(or lehchar), very original one, not blending one. Yong Tau Foo. Wow. Their Chinese restaurants are fantastically good. Heavenly food.

i believe those are shepherd avo (smooth skin) which are less rich /creamy but firmer in texture than hass avo (rough skin). shepherd stays green even when ripe and doesn’t brown when cut.
I actually booked the hotels as we went coz they were plenty of lodging options. We pretty much only booked lodging 1 day before, when we decide where we were gonna go. So we based ourselves in Pekan Nanas (1st night), Pontian (2nd), Kulai (3rd)

The van has pots of boiling sauces where u choose the sticks and u stand by one pot Just cook and eat. The pots are then used by the next customer. Eh... u know hor sibei in hokkien is the 'evolved' way to say very. The correct way is si eh not sibei... those hokkien gangster used sibei to show off as tough. Classic way or wrong way to express very for ah seng and ah beng. So I highly recommend not to use sibei and use si eh instead
