Hurrem asks Ayas Pasha for his support against Ibrahim. Ayas Pasha finds what Hurrem wants in a short time. Hurrem provides Suleiman to learn that. Suleiman gets shocked but he makes a decision about his heartfelt companion. However, he needs to consult Ebussuud Efendi.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Admittedly, this is another of those moments where the writers missed out on a chance to form a more impactful moment by including the other children of Suleiman who died within his first reign as sultan. Those children are believed to have died due to a smallpox outbreak, which would've added additional horror to both Mahidevran and Mustafa here. (Despite the fact that, while I understand why the characters themselves suspect it, it's relevant to point out that Hürrem was _not_ responsible for this.)
Is it shown who contaged him in the end or is it left for the viewers to guess?
@@ivanapervan3783 It's not really left up to guess-outbreaks like these were sadly incredibly common for the time period. No one spread the disease to the baby at all, it just reached him through sheer bad chance.
@@Redluna32 Oh poor child. And it's sad it ended this way for Fatma as well. I have feeling that they completely erased her entire plot this way, like she never existed after this. To be honest I would rather see Mustafa with her than this other who got pregnant, he seemed barely know her name
Exactly, they should have made it a larger outbreak have mutable people sick and dying. Show Suleiman and Mahidevran having flash backs to the outbreak that killed Murad, Mahmud and Raziye. Have Fatma convinced it's Hurrem but Mahidevran knows it's just chance and bad luck.
Mahmud, Murad and Raziye did not exist in this series. It would have interesting to have them and their mothers in the series but they died around a year into Suleiman's reign so maybe it would not have been worth it to include many extra characters for a short period of time, plus the series was just starting out and maybe it was too much dialogue to include. I wish they had included Abdullah (Hurrems son that died in infancy) because it would have been interesting to see Hurrem lose an infant and the reaction of her enemies. We only see her grieve for Cihanger and he died as an adult. Pretty sweet revenge though, she encouraged Mustafa's killing then lost her most precious child as a result. RIP, he was the most innocent person 😢
Correction: Gulfem's children/child (Murad and possibly Raziye) were mentioned several times. Poor Mahmud though 😢 He was Suleiman's firstborn.
For all her faults mahidevaran is.a loving grandmother
She couldn’t handle being replaced and losing her baby
But I feel like she actually cared about her baby which is why she cried and commit suicide
@@Sandra-1wiqwhen did she commit suicide?
It's fatma's karma..
Now i feel relieved for hurrem😌
You are happy that the child is death. Wow.
Fr but the baby was innocence
They keep thinking hurrem sultan did that. Lol!!!
Mustafa looked at her like yea ok your crazy
@@mjbelle23 hahaha
@@mjbelle23At least he has some sense
@@princess7jasmine yea this time he gave her a side eye 😒 lol

Which episode is this . Can anyone tell please?
Hurram is big liar she looked at Suliman fece and lied but I am happy at the end karma happened to her
Poor baby 😢
Poor Fatima 💔
Not at all..she tried to kill hurrem by burning her...
What caused this disease?
Sheer chance. No one got the baby sick. This kind of disease killed many infants and young children in those days all over the eastern world.
Variola Virus
They thought Hurrem had it done. Maybe she did, but I doubt she would harm a baby.

why on every funeral in this series random woman is clinging onto a coffin?
In this case it was her baby
Dont worry mustafa mehmet will pay
Pay for what?
No he will not
Pay for what??, Mehmed had already died of smallpox when Mustafa lost his baby, and he never did anything to hurt Mustafa's baby, so he cannot be blamed in this case, the baby died purely because of a disease outbreak that was common in that era or maybe it was a payment for Fatma because she once tried to burn Hurrem's face
@@jyxxsar_ are you stupid
Untill this scene Mehmet was still alive nobody tried to harm him
He paid fir what his mother did
Hurrem too burned Maria's face
