  • Trevor Bauer is among the most polarizing athletes in professional sports, but he seems to have had a change in attitude since being cancelled cancelled by his Lindsey Hill allegations.
Does he deserve a 2nd chance? Or is he really a monster that shouldn't be allowed to play in MLB.
I polled Major League Baseball Fans to find out.

Lets make one thing clear, criminal charges were not dropped, they were NEVER filed due to lack of evidence and the accuser being caught in lies by the investigators.
Maybe he would have a better public image had charges been filed and was found not guilty in a trial as it is obvious many vocal haters including the majority of sports pundits treat him like he is guilty.
The fact criminal charges were NEVER filed alone should be enough but unfortunately too many folks do not see it this way.

If Trevor Bauer was an NFL QB, he would be signed and a starter on one of at least six teams. I will be absolutely shocked if the MLB Commissioner will ever let his nemesis play in the league. It is unfortunate for teams that desperately need starting pitching to pass on Bauer. Frankly, Bauer needs to return to Japan where genuine baseball fans love him or find a MLB team that has an owner like the NFL maverick, now deceased, Al Davis.

MLB embarrassed itself over the Bauer situation. Through collusion with all 30 teams, it will deny Trevor any chance to play in the Majors again. MLB doesn't care about Trevor, or the fans, or the players, or the individual teams. It cares about that MLB logo, and that's it.

Right? I mean I've been a Braves guy since the early 80s. I'm just so happy that they only have 2 rings over the last 30 years of usually making the playoffs. It's not like Bauer wasn't falsely accused or that Atlanta needs more than 2 or 3 good pitchers. At league minimum, there's no risk. However, there's a high chance of a stellar return. He'd only earn more if he earned it. That's supposed to be the American way.

He's a starting pitcher of course they are a little weird. You're essentially playing 1v1 game in a team sport so you're going to be a little weird in how you play. No different than a closer, NHL goalie, or some NFL QB. Starting pitchers are such a weird position in team sports, you basically can win a game by yourself if you are playing your best at times. No other sport has that 1v the whole team like pitchers, maybe some goaltenders in sports could be like that and there's been plenty of head cases as goalies that are great.

MLB investigated TB for ten months ( all while he was paid ) and then suspended him for 324 games for violating the MLB DV policy. An independent arbiter ( hired by the players Union ) AGREED with the suspension but disagreed on its length and reduced it to 194. Only TB, his lawyers, MLB and the arbiter know what was discovered in those ten months. Suprised in your one sided propaganda video you don’t mention a 10 month investigation and an independent arbiter agreeing with the suspension. There were two allegations in Ohio from two women and another allegation from a woman in Arizona all accusing TB of the same behavior. You say TB deserves a second chance? Then he should have no issues releasing the 10 month report that MLB used as their basis to suspend. If that report exonerates him, I agree he should have a second chance. But somehow I don’t think TB wants that report to see the light of day. IMHO
