The chord at 1:43 sounds different in the studio recording to my ears. There it sounds more like the Hendrix chord over E to my ears (so e - g# - d - g). The chord he shows here shares some notes, but it sounds a bit too clean in comparison to what I hear on the record. I mean, he will know how to play his own song 😅 But still, do any of you guys have any insights?
Im not gonna argue - took me a month to play goat somewhat on tempo still with some mistakes - takes me way over a month to not play this "somewhat on tempo" :D
@@moltenhydrogen2218 completely agree, not to say goat is easy, but it's one of the cases of people mistaking the difficulty of a song with it's recognisably and popularity
I agree completely. The riff from G.O.A.T, Goose, The Worst, and Nasty are all easier for me than this one (not that I can play any of them perfectly yet lol). I find the hard part about this riff, is all the weird chords at a fast tempo and having to hit harmonics between almost all of them
I broke my fingers. Thank you
AndRoit 0 no worries man
What he can do in standard tuning is truly amazing.
and standard 4/4 for that matter
Beautiful. Pre- neck tatt tim. Thank you for posting this
Chris Shreds my pleasure bro
Easiest riff ever. Learned it in 20 minutes
Zamn
Can confirm your fretboard will be saucy if you play this with rusty strings.
0:24 E E E E E E E. (Ea sports)
And the worst thing about all this is, learning the song is the easy part! But it's so addicting to practice...
honestly, I could spend hours just practicing the same part of the same song over and over.
this triplet run has been fucking me up for years now
So good! Now I just need to make my fingers 2x as flexible and long and I might have a chance at considering playing this
You don't need long fingers bro ❤
@@honeypotusernamehow
@PotatoKing86 stretching? Your fingers will do what you want eventually with enough practice, unless your hands are seriously tiny
@@honeypotusername maybe
How does anybody write this 😂😂 very creative man
beautiful tone
You can learn to play the riff. But maintaining that tempo and playing the whole song is just hard.
4:00 holy shit, that chord is impossible 🤯🤯
rather than impossible, is painfull
did you see the one at 1:12?
@@danvella1104 1:12 is super easy, 4:00 is pain
@@mario50000 easy for me lol
practice makes perfect :)
3:57 i knew he changed the chord to look cool💀
Its to "let ring" the notes
This is so damn stressful
Bro even thundercat is watching this like WAIT HOLD UP SLOW DOWN
my guitar doesn't do that
Hands* in most cases
Prajwol Shrestha it was a joke man :,)
I think mines broke
Have you already tried turning it off and on?

First song I learned. I haven't played in 13 years. Thx
first song you learned hahahahahahahahahahahahaha sure
@@HECKproductions jealous
This is honestly one of the Easiest riffs he’s made
This sounded really hard to play but after actually learning how it's played makes it much easier.
@@mcfuckface7149 you’re funny
all falls apart and like neurotica are his easiest imo!
@@Travis_1245Neurotica?! Is All falls apart even a riff?
@@MrAFK495 yes it is 😭 these are both songs by him
Correct me If im wrong... But this feels way harder than g.o.a.t.

Yeah I got that impression aswell, goat is easy if you can hybrid pick saucy has so many awkward stretches
goat is one of the easiest riffs in nlnd. people are just overexaggerating how hard the riff is without listening to any of polyphia's other songs

Yeaa Im gonna stick with the easier cover 😂😂
where he made tutorials?
I guess it is on members only
Ok
can somebody tell me the name of the guitar he's using
weird chord shapes
Do I subscribe or keep you at 777? Also how good is berserk
up to you brother. be sure to read berserk though, it's just too good to skip
@@abikyoukan2 I’ve seen all the animes but I really do have to check out the manga though
@@mfdoom8262 yea brother, the manga is the longest going one
The fuck does he write those chords😂
Hardest riff ever, probably.
OD. Is knocking
You might be able to play polyphia riffs with a lot of practice, but I bet you can’t write polyphia style riffs
It’s really not that hard it’s pop chord progressions that are just really arpeggiated
is this tutorial accurate?
Yes, its the guy who wrote it telling how to play it.
It’s literally Tim himself giving a tutorial on his song💀
