We started our day with a drive to Porthcurno, right on the south coast of Cornwall, and were amazed by the white sand and turquoise sea at Porthcurno Beach. We walked a little further on the coastal path and ended up at Rowena Cade’s Minack Theatre, carved into the cliff face with incredible dramatic views of the British coastline. We got some beautiful drone shots of Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre before heading to the most westerly point of mainland England: the famous Land’s End! We saw the signpost and then walked back along the coastal path to Nanjizal Cove Beach. This was another beautiful little spot with only two other people there… although at this point it started to rain so we rushed back to the car before the storm settled in! What an incredible trip through Cornwall! The beauty of Porthcurno Beach and its turquoise sea was absolutely enchanting. The Minack Theater, situated on a cliff, is a true masterpiece with its dramatic coastal views. It is a remarkable juxtaposition of the old and the new captured in a single picture. Despite the blustery wind, we still managed to enjoy this experience with you, although I can imagine how it may not have been entirely pleasant for the journey. You have captured the essence of the Cornish coastline so well - the drone shots are stunning especially depicting the spectacular outdoor theatre perched on the edge of the rocks. I would so love to experience seeing a play there! Good to see Lands’ End too so blustery but no doubt still a wonderful walk.
Yesss we need to book a trip and go see a show at that theatre. That would be ridiculous! 🎭
