Top tip - at the car park kiosk, just say you are going to the hotel. Have a drink in the bar, then just wander around the unspoilt bits for a while. Free parking!
Cracking video again shaun and a little insight into you which nice to hear. I got married at lands end 2 years ago and it was amazing, we had our wedding photos taking on the rocks right where you zoomed in to see the two kayakers, I also remember the pirate ship because I grew up about 4 miles from lands end and we used to ride our bikes there when we was younger. I used to be in the coastguard and cliff rescue and I totally agree with you about people not following thr rules near cliffs. Keep up the good work mate.
I bet your wedding at lands end was amazing Jon. It just annoys me that people ignore the signs because after that lady broke the rules loads of other people copied which made it even worse. Glad you enjoyed the video Jon 👍
@@LoveSundays yes it was amazing best day ever and so will yours be at St Ives. And yes its probably not a good Idea you film on the day because I'm pretty sure you won't make it to Sunday 😂😂 And I agree with you totally, the rope is there for a reason!
Absolutely loved this video Shaun i worked at lands end in 1982 building the exhibition halls and the firm i worked for built all the other attractions in1988. I am 61 and share your love of snorkeling i have a snorkel and pair of fins which i bought in 1983 so older than you. Their was also a old fishing boat at lands end back when you would have gone there. If you were born in September 84 I think stevie wonder was number 1 but can't be sure lol. Ps i went down and and had good snorkel on the Ben Asdale this morning about 7.30am was great Will upload soon. Thanks for a great bit of nostalgia and an insight to your life.
Wow that’s a great thing to be able to say that you were part of building the exhibition halls. Land End is one of those places that I don’t go to often but it’s beautiful what ever the weather. That’s great that you went to the wreck I’ve pretty much been swimming out to it every evening to get my fitness up and I actually snorkelled out there at high tide with my dad and Kate last week. I’ll probably put it into a video at some point but I’ve not even looked at the footage yet 😆. Thanks for watching Nigel mate 👍
I remember Lands End back in the 80’s with nothing there only the ‘first and last house’ and no tourist attractions or hotel….! We were in Cornwall last month and are coming back down next month…! Nice video mate….!
Lands End is beautiful isn’t it. I live in Cornwall and I’ve found even thought lands end is right on my doorstep I haven’t visited it for years. Funny how that happens right? 😆
Thanks Johnny I’m so happy to finally be at 1k subs. Just need about 200 watch hours to hit the 4000 watch hour target. RUclips likes to make it difficult for us 😆
Just caught up with this, thanks so much for the mention Shaun! That's really kind :) I wondered where the new subscribers were coming from ;) Also I have SO many great memories of that pirate ship at lands end as a child, I adored it and the insane, pant-wettingly scary demon drop slide inside it. Oh my goodness it was brilliant. And the scary suspension bridge. Sad to hear they aren't there now but nice to have a virtual look around Lands End, ta!
Just caught up with all your vlogs Shaun after 2 weeks staying in Gwithian. They are bringing back good memories already 😊 Did plenty of good snorkelling around Godrevy and Kynance, visited Falmouth, St Mawes, St Ives, Penzance, Sennon, Newquay, St Agnes and Truro. Yes I remember the pirate ship and the swinging bridge and I've found although Lands End is packed for the most part you don't have to walk to far to get away from the crowds and enjoy the stunning scenery! Keep up the good work and hit that 1k subscriber 😎👍🏻
haha... duck butt! I've never seen that sign, so how far is it from New York? I bet the mini 2 could make it... lol Awesome shout outs, Shaun... Very cool... Awesome video, buddy.. God bless!!!!
Just Recommended your channel to alot of people, expect a spike in Subs Around today or tomorrow, great video Mate! Siriously, Your so close to 1k!!! We need to get you there!!!
Hopefully I got your age right mate 👍thanks for recommending the channel though mate I really appreciate it. I also need 200 watch hours so feel free to watch some playlist on the channel to get the watch hours up. Don’t worry if you’re busy filming this weekend though 😂
I walked from Sennen Cove to Porthcurno in 2019, which is a very beautiful walk. And of course we took a look inside the Land's End premises. I am really glad you respect the fences. They are put there by reasons known by the local authorities. And vistors may believe there is no real hazard because it looks safe. But the hazard is real. We have this problem in Norway too, for instance by glaciers and high waterfalls. Some people who ignore the fences and signposts, have actually been killed when the nature suddenly "acts on its own" without warning. Thank you for sharing some of your personal stuff :) It is a pity you cannot taste seafood. But there is luckily very much other good food in the world :) If you have fear of sheer drops by narrow paths, you may not want to enter Lamorna Cove by foot from either of the sides, or to walk some of the steep cliffsides in North Devon or North Cornwall :) Thank you for a great video :)
That’s really sad that people have been killed by ignoring the signs in Norway Torunn. They’re obviously there for a reason but sadly people pay no attention. I’m glad you enjoyed me sharing some facts about me. I hope to make these videos a little more personal as I go along. Thanks for watching 😊
@@LoveSundays Yes, one of the cases: Not many years ago, a woman fell down a big waterfall 182 metres high, called Vøringsfossen. She wanted to have a better view from the top, and climbed over a fence... I doubt she enjoyed the view on the way down.

Another great video Shaun. I like your ethics and I liked the back story about you too.
Thanks Colinn👍 no pasty in this one though 😆
