As a child my parents took us on camping holidays from the North East of England. Memories of dawn 'til dusk drives in a Mini Traveller with trailer, 2 adults, 2 kids and a Labrador all the way from Newcastle to Sennen Cove, Ilfracombe, Weston Super Mare, Cheddar and lord knows where else...
Sounds amazing - even though we live just over the border in Devon we often take the family to Cornwall... they love it! And so do we! Thanks for watching, Chris!
St Ives, so many happy childhood memories. Stunning place.........Tregenna House and Clowance...........stunning coastline, happy days. Thanks for sharing Trev. 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧 Best wishes from Scotland, UK.
Cracking video Trev, we love St. Ives and have been really lucky in that we’ve always had glorious weather, and it’s like being in the med when the sun shines! 👍
It certainly does feel like a foreign holiday in Cornwall. We have loved having regular holiday here, even though we are just over the border. Love it! Thanks for watching
Thankyou for such a wonderful video and for being my legs and stamina, ive still got mine, only just, can't hardly walk anymore thsn a few yards, use to go to Devon and Cornwall many years ago, hope to go again one day, just need a rugged terrain electric wheelchair for the more wider paths etc.
Really glad that I could help transport you to the Coast path. I've done over 2/3s of the South West Coast path, and all has been captured in video here on the channel. Fill your boots and thanks for watching!
Wonderful video as always Who would have thought when you did these walks we would be in this awful lockdown now so sad . But at least we have you and your adventures to watch. Many many thanks as always
I know. It seems strange looking back at all these older videos and it seems like a different time... Quite heartbreaking. Let's hope we can find a vaccine and get this behind us else life could become quite strange. Thanks for watching
Yeah, that was a hard slog - I was exhausted after having camped, walked the day before, having hardly any water and with that heat baring down on me... Not sure if you have seen the full video of this one? In case youre interested .... ruclips.net/video/x_4MT7Ktwf8/видео.html
@@SummitOrNothing no problem trev, hope all the patreon side of things is working out for you and heading in the direction that you would like it to. ATB Dave 👍
Nice cliff line . I have done a lot of coastal walks in Australia , especially in our national parks. It is nice to to that walk in the UK . Does it firm part of the Great South Coast Path ? I hope I got the name right . Thank you for your lovely video . Cornish pies , yummy !
Hey mate - love it. I'm from down here and have walked most of the coast path in Cornwall many times over. Lands End peninsula remains one of the best parts to walk. Just wondering - where did you camp? Do you have any recommendations? I fancy doing a big stretch over the next few days as we're going to get some better weather.
Hi Freddie! I found a field after Pendeen watch and pitched in there, although a little further on there was some old ruins where a couple of campers had managed to set up - if you watch this full video of the two days plus the camp you can see where I mean - cheers for watching! ruclips.net/video/x_4MT7Ktwf8/видео.html
Well put together edit there Trev. That was an amazing Seal Colony. I love Cornwall but tend to base myself and the family more Newquay end due to the... more than usual 'No Dogs allowed' beach policies around the St Ives area. We have 5 so it's not like we could secretly smuggle them in.
Thank you for a fantastic review of this area and my own walks. From Padstow to St. Ives in August 2018 and St. Ives to Penzance in July 2019. Just days before your own walks 😄 Sorry we didn't meet 🥴😊
@@SummitOrNothing We have rescheduled our planned June 2020 walk to June 2021 :) Too long really, but there is no point being over optimistic and having to cancel once more :)
thanks for sharing! i will walk end of august till september, where could i start? i am 73 j. and i hope i can walk this way, is my dream since a long time ! is it easy to find a place to sleep? b and b?
@@SummitOrNothing Yep, quality's great! I absolutely love St. Ives and Carbis Bay, we stay there often so lovely to see the place since we've not been able to for ages! Back soon though :-)
I'm Cornish now living in Hawaii and I still miss Cornwall!

another fantastic video. we don't have that in Texas!!! thank you
No, I bet you don't! Glad to have shared it!
谢谢!
I can see why St Ives is a good place to paint. That light does seem different. Maybe all that pale fine sand either side of the point.
Yeah, an artists dream I should imagine. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, I can imagine its hard to smuggle that crowd lol. There's still plenty of great beaches up and around Newquay too. Thanks for watching!

4 vids recut and digitally enhanced (I have been ploughing through some older videos now I have a better quality editing output)
Great walk and nice vlog to go with it. Did you wild camp or camp sites?

Ah, thanks for the lesson. Don't ask me to pronounce corniche or Welsh lol
