We are not ready to share what comes next, due to current and future travel restrictions and the changes Brexit will mean for us, as a British-Italian couple. We do plan to be in the sailing world in the future, but the uncertain times mean we cannot make any set decisions.

sorry to here that brexit can affect you two too.. it must have been thought more than they did beore to goto a hard one. i am sure that you will find a way to be back again soon..
I sort of understand. Gary and I are having similar issues. Our boat is in San Diego and our home is in italy. We can’t get back to the home we feel in love with June 2019. We returned to LA (surgery) then San Diego (transfer ownership to new owner. The surgery was a failure (second time in 4 months), and the buyer pulled out of our deal. Good luck for us, or we would have had to spend the last 10 months in our car. I am so home sick (how quickly I bounded you new home. I think Gary would rather remain in San Diego as he returned to work. Afraid we will have to give up on our dream sail to italy. We will miss your channel - immensely. Perhaps we will start back at your first video and rewatch. Looking forward to your quick return, until then, stay safe and healthy.

Hi can you not start a crowd funding site to tide you over this bad patch l.m sure followers would contribute to keep you going for a while ,other people do it so why not you,if I knew how too I would set one up for you but at 78 years of age I do not have a clue how to do this ,we all get so much pleasure watching your travels I,m sure people would be happy to help ,I know I would.ps why do you not sail home to Europe

A few days ago I counted 20 channels that I subscribe to. Mostly van life, but also few sailing channels - Sailing Kittiwake included - though I am not, and have no aspiration to be, a sailor. So why did I subscribe?
The stories.
Fascination with and appreciation for, all the work that comes with boat ownership. Your boat work episodes drew me in.
Architecturally, Skua is a beautiful vessel .
With all the love, sweat, and tears you've invested in Skua, it saddens me that she is for sale. Here's hoping you get a good price and may Skua's new owners appreciate her as much as you have.

Bit of a shock! I started following because I missed my catamaran I sailed in Dominica and around those islands. Skua was a change and let me think about monohulls in a better light. But all shut down here on Cape Cod and for the last months I’ve heard more from you two than most other humans. Thank you for your unknowing support!! RUclips is funny- you don’t know me, but if I can ever help you I will. I wish you the best. I am terribly curious about what you will be doing, and how you got in to making the change. And things do change! Will be watching for the next videos- especially as the cold hands of winter clutch us. Health and Fair Winds!

Unfortunatly we guessed this was coming...
That sounds like we are smart arses, but seriously so many travellers by land or sea have done this due to various and obvious reasons.
No judgement from us as we realise travelling at this time is not fun or simply things just run their course over time.
For us 6 years driving around the world it is just another problem to get through, tough though it is.
It was fun while it lasted.... Best wishies from Kevin and Heike still stuck in West Africa. xxx

Hey guys, life is full of ups and downs and forks in the road. You are both young and you have had a fabulous time since you left the U.K. in your little cat Kittiwake. I can imagine it will be hard to leave Skua but I’m sure you will find a wonderful new owner. We all just look after boats ready for the next owner but if you are anything like me it is an emotional attachment. However, there are plenty of boats in the world needing the Kittiwake treatment and love and I’m sure that whatever you do next you will give it your all. I’m going through a major life change myself and trying to stay positive but best wishes and I wish you well in the future. Wow...that is a surprise! I gave the video a thumbs up of course even if the news is somehow sad. Nevertheless I am sure you have spent a lot of time in consideration of this and future steps. The main thing is that your experiences on Kittywake and Skua can never be taken away from you and you have a fantastic record in the form of your tube channel. You have been on an amazing journey and I have no doubts your future journey’s will be amazing too . . Perhaps even more so. There were probably quite a few nights laying awake while making that decision. Like may others here I'll be sad to see you end your adventure so soon.
