I must say your home and gardens are looking wonderful. I also think being surrounded by beautiful things (not always expensive) makes me feel very content also. That’s why I choose to use the good china and my favourite glassware and cutlery instead of just waiting for special occasions because I might live alone and some might think “why bother for just myself”, but I choose to believe I AM the special occasion, I’m only having this moment once!

The new angle you used in this vlog (when wearing the Erdam (sp?) dress is FANTASTIC! Visually, it's more dynamic, lighting improved, looks like you have more room too. Having the mirror to show your side/back view is very helpful as well. Of course, seeing all of your new linens is wonderful. Really like this angle for you. Well chosen.
Wow, what a difference the blinds make! I would not have thought it would make that much difference. They make the room look finished. Now I'm eyeing my windows.
The blinds, the stool, the dress, the hat... 😍 so many beautiful things all piled into this vlog! And printing your own linens - who knew you could even do that, I'm here for all the discoveries recently with all the creativity and hobby vibes.
The chicken coop is lovely too, it looks so cute tucked into the woodland there. Glad to hear Lumi is OK too 🙏
What a way to start the week!
I’m so glad you talked about letting the pups sniff. It is the MOST important part of the walk for dogs. The physical exercise is secondary. As a dog behaviorist I see people every single day that are constantly pulling their dogs along and even getting frustrated that their dogs want to sniff. I cannot express enough how important letting them engage in their environment is for them. 20 minutes of natural enrichment can be more fulfilling and tiring then an hour of intense exercise. Thank you again for sharing this really important information. You’ve become such a wonderful and intentional mom. Well done love.

Lydia, I just love how many kitties are being featured in vlogs lately! It warms my heart so much as a cat mama. 😻Also, my friends have told me similar things about my personal aesthetic - I agree 100% that having an appealing space (whatever that means to you!) relaxes the mind. It's just soothing to know everything has its place and looks lovely to boot. Edit: poor Lumi! I hope you and she are both doing ok. It's so hard when our babies are sick or injured. Sending all the supportive hugs.
You will have to introduce a few more lightweight little cardigans in different colours into your wardrobe! They're hands down the best layering piece for pretty dresses! I adore that first dress and if you had a cardy in a colour picked out from the pattern it would be so pretty! 🧡💛💙

You could also have your dressing room chair re-finished with the wood color of your choice and re-upholstered with the same fabric as your stool. Just a thought for a possible future project. The shades look spectacular, they really pull the room together.

Well i was not a fan of the green in your dressing room but now with the lovely fabric with the print i must say its looks lovely.
You need to grab some beautiful lightweight cardigans in different colours for your dresses, they are by far the best layering piece to wear with them. That first dress with the floral print was so pretty and if you'd had the right cardy it would be perfect for when it cools down! 🧡💛💙

Everything looks beautiful. I have had chickens in the past some Easter egg layers or just different variety is good to have. It’s best to give them lots of kitchen scrapes, bugs from the garden etc you know you feed them well if the color of the egg yolk is like an orange color. The chickens will scratch up the grass where they live so u probably won’t have any grass left if they stay in one place. Ducks are great egg layers to and they don’t make the ground bare. Hope you have fun with the chickens 🐓 , bees and the sausage dogs and Lumi . Wishing you all the best.

Hi, you are so entertaining. Such a different life here in the states... but I have been to the Kentucky Derby once! Love your dressing room, I have an older home but we have some basic problems that come with an older house. Very different from you is that I have to run to our local Loews often for repairs. Haven't seen your vids in quite awhile. Your skin looks flawless, hair is fantastic and dark brows now!

Oh Lydia I totally understand not coping with our furbabies being hurt. It sounds super silly, but I cried when my golden retriever hurt his paw and needed a cast and my when my baby kitten needed his shots I couldn’t cope so my hubby went in and dealt with it. 😆😢 I don’t have kids so they are my kids🤗☺️. It hurts me if anyone or any animal is hurt. 🥺 Empathy at its highest level. 🥰 I’m praying for little Lumi. 🙏🥰🐆🐱

As an American I am still amazed by the way you can walk on others property. I get the reasons why etc just still makes 😮 no one did a really good video of the races and the fashion, loved the dress. Get a chicken swing they will love it. The grass will no longer exist once the chickens are there they will eat it all. Also chicken tunnels are great. You can use those to move them into the garden Amd eat up all the plants move soil etc in the fall when everything dies off.
