Yea, you said, and I always thought that if you repot while the plant is blooming, you will lose the flowers. I bought a beautiful "Happy Stream" Phal. from a grower that had 2 spikes with lots of buds. After 2 buds bloomed on both spikes, the buds started falling off. The plant looked healthy, but something was going on. I knew if I didnt address this right away, I could lose the plant. So I decided to pull it out and repot the plant, which I found extensive root rot in the middle of the root mass. After trimming all the bad roots out and disinfecting the roots I repotted in fresh media. To my surprise, the spikes stopped dropping buds and 3 weeks later, the spikes actually started growing new buds. That went against everything I knew and read about blooming orchids. But I was to the point that I was more concerned about saving the plant, than the blooms, it could bloom again later, if I could saved the plant. Sure glad I found you, you're my "go to channel" from now. You have so many tips & tricks that other channels dont have. I never thought of packing the pots with a flat stick before. Have a Blessed Day. 😊👍

I’m really interested in your orchids they’re amazing 😊
What is the best way to water the phalaenopsis grown in pots. I can't grow them in pots. They always rot. Mine do best for me mounted.
