Thank you for a great video! Enjoyed learning, especially about packing the orchid tightly. Got me worried about the roots but now understand the "harsh appearance" of packing.
They use Orchiata which typically lasts quite a bit longer than pine bark and since this seedling was probably potted only a year ago, the old Orchiata media should still be in good shape for another couple years.

I've never seen anyone pack the bark to that extreme don't you think it's a bit much

Thank you for the video. I've never packed my media in that tight, but it is worth a try.
Just received a baby Cattleya yesterday, might have to go back with a stick and beat the bark medium to get it secure in the pot!
