I live in the UK and as soon as the money switched from paper to polymer I had to switch back to a bifold wallet because the cash was so frustrating to handle when folded.
Thanks for the review. One question. Does pulling the wallet out of your pocket undo the clip? I would think if you had something else in your pocket it might undo the clip.
I've been using this wallet for 4 Years now and that never happen to me. The key is to make sure that there is no excess slack on the paracord. I also drop tested this many times.
i have had mine for years now i carried it for a year before switching to one of my leather wallets after a year of everyday use and mine was maxed out with cards it does scratch and cause some damage on the cards but never to the point that they were unusable i actually just switched back to it today with a few less cards so we will see how round 2 goes the extra features such as the prybar and bottle opener were very useful in a pinch
I have used the version 1.0 for over 5 years without any issues. The cards don't fall out. I counted 12 and some cash a few minutes ago. It is looking rather beat up so I thought I would get another. Unfortunately, they don't have red any more. I've had such good luck with the 1.0, that I think I am going for a leather version.
@@PackHacker2 After this long it is just starting to look worn. It is getting a little loose and I could tighten it up with the paracord. I carry very little cash, two bills that I don't want seen. This thing is a tank. It has been submerged in my pocket, on job sites, in the office, tossed in my truck and desk, etc. I still get lots of questions about it. The printing is upside down on the original. (Makes it a collectors item! lol) As far as function, no. I really liked the V1 because it holds a bunch of cards. I have 12 that I carry all of the time. From medical to sams club, work and personal CCs as well as debit cards, DL, etc.
Thanks for all that info, Joe! It’s nice to hear what exactly you like that model for. You’ll have to let us know if you like the leather version if you get it! -Eric
@@truehope287 its simple, just remove the paracord from the wallet, just snip off both the heat sealed ends off the length of paracord , pull the white strands all the way out (they'll come straight out without resistance) . Once removed just re seal both ends with a lighter to stop unravelling. Its dead easy. Then re thread the paracord back through the wallet. It sits a lot better on the wallet without the strands as the paracord is much flatter

Interesting point. Thanks for sharing!

I have the 1.0, 2.0, summit, element, and contour. Absolutely love them. 😊

How did you get a Stars and stripes one??
Love it!
Have you noticed some cards damage or scratching ? This is my only concern .
I get the feeling that it shreds cards.

Had mine for two years and there's only some minor, cosmetic scratching. No impact on function.
I've had mine for years and no sir my cards are fine. 😊
No thanks. Ridge for me

Thanks for your insight, Joe! After five years, is there anything you wish worked differently? Thanks for watching 😃

This is a super piece of kit that has rendered both my Secrid and Ridge wallets redundant.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

@@PackHacker2 Money well spent 👍
I also removed the inner strands from the paracord to make it fit flatter on the wallet.

I'm going to try that as soon as mine gets here!
Not sure how one removes the inner strands though

Just got the 2.0, I’ve had the 1.0 forever but Velcro wore out. Family got me the 2.0 and I love the upgrades!

Nice..it would be better if have a cord lock before the knot to secure properly when adjusting the cord, thanks for the review!
Glad you liked it!

Maybe I’m old school but I wouldn’t consider that a wallet same with ridge and the like .
It feels like a left hand wallet to be honest.
Where do You keep coins?
This film appears to be more advertisment then a review.
In the US they don't care much about coins but in Europe and other countries you'll still need to deal with them with something else
Most people in the States don't use coins much except quarters for laundromat, public transit, parking meters, etc.
We have different opinions on what constitutes an advertisement. This is a fine video.
Yeah many minimalist wallets assume people don't use coins and even all sorts of cash altogether, very frustrating.
@@ELaster1 Don't think it would still be a minimalist wallet if you were carrying a lot of cash and coins
An american flag printed metal wallet with paracord... that's the lamest dude bro pos I've ever seen haha
So much hate 😆 relax kid.
