    Toyota Malaysia needs to start the hybrid game going again. May not be extremely profitable for them, but it will be good for them to prep for the future.

    Why must Toyota Malaysia keep offering the lower spec models to the Malaysian market? And it takes forever for the newer models to arrive to our shores. Is the Malaysian market not worthy of the respect it deserves Toyota Malaysia? Look at the number of Toyota supporters on the road. Lol!

    Despite being CBU it's pretty disappointing that it doesn't has some features that are present in the Japan ones. However there are pretty cool futures that the previous generation does not have and even other SUVs in the market. I love the new tail light very much but it would be cool if the badge were to place ontop of it, and the tailight would be completely connected from left to right

      If 0-100 is the only thing you care for in a car, then you should just stick to driving a civic or a city or whatever, that's where your level of state of mind belong, people who drives luxury cars dont go around asking for a fast 0-100 car, only cheapskate people care about whether they can smoke people with that 0-100 times, that's absolutely pathetic

      thia is just a simplified reference of the performance of a car, torque is ultimately more important in these type of car, i doubt in gear performance is any better, but given the response people have here, I guess Toyota feel they can get away with this engine and transmission.

    I am thinking to buy a new Harrier, but now in doubt due to some downgrades on the new Harrier features from the previous launch especially on the non availability of Turbo engine. I think Toyota should provide both turbo and non-turbo for customers to choose even though we understand that Toyota would like to support the climate change initiatives.
    Please consider to re-introduce the Turbo engine model, I will be among the first to place my order.
    Toyota, you are losing your customer by not providing options and not listening to voice of customers!!!

    • @emilylimsl9884
      @emilylimsl9884 3 года назад

      It upgrades from 6 speed auto to 10 speed Direct Shift CVT but yes, horsepower and torque downgrades when changing back to NA but Dynamic Force Engine but the power should be quite fine with good fuel economy and better thermal efficiency. At least toyota keeping up the times with their current generation line up including design is getting premium despite changing from turbo to NA, that major downgrades for horsepower and torque

      @@emilylimsl9884 the gearbox is actually a downgrade because u can reprogram any cvt gearbox to mimic how many virtual speed u want. Its not as reliable as a proper automatic gearbox and its used mainly for lower powered cars to make it more fuel efficient but lacks any driver excitement at all while driving it. Any previous generation model owners will less likely to change to this new model seeing how the pricing and all the downgraded stuff they are getting.....

    Is this a Parallel import or Official Toyota import? Why do you say its still coming? It's already available I'm Japan for almost a year. The biggest drawback is the Engine types available, the current naturally aspirated 4 cylinder is no match for its competitors, I don't why the dropped the 2lt Turbocharged engine which was quite powerful. The 2lt Turbo is found in the Petrol RX200T LEXUS too. Now driving is not going to fun anymore. I feel that they should offer the 2lt Turbo as an option or its going to fail.

    Why on earth the car designers are so fond of sitting the side mirrors on the door panels is damn fucking spoilt the the elegant streamline looking(fly in the ointment).
    Ignore the blind spot lar !
    It becomes a shit car look like 1950s, & 60s Morris Minor those days its side mirrors are sitting in the door panels.
    Some even came out with a small triangle glass fitted just like 1950s Morris Minor with open/close little triangle window to collect wing to cool down inside the car compartment(car with no air conditioning in the old days). Really a shit car man !
