I traded in my 2020 RS for the new RS in cosmic yellow and absolutely love it, it's my fourth street triple and easily the best in fact I 100% agree with Bike magazine who called it "the best bike Triumph have ever made", its handling is sharper but still planted and the shorter gearing has really pepped up low and mid range acceleration. it's hard to believe Triumph have so much improved what was already a great bike but I do have one tiny gripe, the TFT isn't as good as the previous two on the 765 RSs, IMO it's too cluttered and things like the clock are tiny and unreadable unless you've 20/20 vision, I like the Rs TFT better but overall it's a superb beautiful bike and for someone who's owned 31 bikes from 350LCs through GSX-Rs, CBRs and R1s I think the new RS is the best bike I've owned.
Picked up my yellow RS 6 weeks ago. I had a 2018 which I sold and went to a Tiger 900. So glad to get back on the Street Triple. It was a great bike but they have somehow improved it and now it’s the perfect sports naked. And that yellow ❤

Excellent and thorough review. So good to see a reviewer who does their homework before turning the camera on. The bike has impressive engineering and clever technology. It’s a great bike I had a demo on one , but you can’t really compare it to my Speed Triple it’s nowhere near as powerful or torque! The only thing that’s better on the street triple, is the way it rides at low speeds in traffic ect it’s much smoother and it’s £4000 cheaper but it’s a totally different bike 😊
A bit scary watching Kate getting on and only just about able to touch the ground. Lovely bike only spoilt by the same terrible TFT dash as the previous RS had. The one on the Speed triple is much better. Even the fisher price one on the new R is better than this.
Whoever was responsible for the design of the 4 lay outs of the dash needs to be fired! With a full tft they could have at least given us one traditional layout with a big tach and rev counter like on their other bikes. This is the single reason why I will not buy this bike, it is just hideous and hard to read and drags an otherwise great bike down.

@@UsernameKate I much prefer the BMW, or even Hornet dash. Legible and clear. The tacho graphics on the Street Triple are difficult to read and look a bit naff. I prefer the dash on the R model
Hear hear! Give me an RS with the R dash any day!
The dash on the 2019 is better in my opinion.
A bit scary watching Kate getting on and only just about able to touch the ground. Lovely bike only spoilt by the same terrible TFT dash as the previous RS had. The one on the Speed triple is much better. Even the fisher price one on the new R is better than this.
Rev counter is awful.
The reason I’m not spending my hard earned looking at that display 🍻
I kind of like it actually. But i agree, a traditional lay-out would’ve been nice.
@@hallmountfilms I mean its a programable computer screen basically, not understanding the logic behind it unless they wanted to specifically set it apart from their 1000cc plus bikes.
A tach is a rev counter..what are u talking about?
Some parts of this motorcycle are gorgeous, but then your eyes falls on the headlights and the stupid looking digital instruments design and you wonder why???
I don't mind the headlights, but I agree, the digital console does look out of place. The R model, however, has a better looking console.
This comment had me in stitches. From when i saw eyes fall on headlights i knew what was coming next 😂😂😂😂
@@512460 😂 what can I say, I don’t like these bug eyed designs trends that unfortunately don’t seam to go away, it’s like design for teenagers, but the buyer is in his thirties or higher and don’t get me started on the Japanese with their transformers design 🤮Yamaha/ Suzuki and Kawasaki, Honda are a bit better, but they have the problem of falling asleep watching their designs 😜
@@gryphongryph lool then i assume you're also not a fan of the bmw s1000r/rr loool
When you said transformers instantly thought of the MT line.
@@512460 A little better, but now it got those stupid wings, should not be allowed in MotoGP as they destroy racing and on road I think it is utterly unnecessary.
Come to think of it, I sound a bit grumpy 🫣
electronics, not electrics.
Thanks
Not feeling it, not my cup of tea. Nice presentation tho
It's a really good and nice looking bike but that headlight absolutely ruins the bike, I couldn't live with that it's so ugly. I loathe the current obsession with insect like styling. I'll stick to my older bikes which all look far better than anything designed in the past 10 years. Good overview though Kate.
the audio on this is massively over compressed. it actually gets worse as the video progresses. for somebody thats already taking money off people watching the channel and actively encouraging more people to do the same (not to mention getting money from channel sponsors bikesure) i would at the very minimum expect professionally turned out video. maybe if you cant do it yourself you could divert some of the free money youre getting to a professional editor. at least that way the viewers and the sponsors would be getting theyre monies worth.
Somebody hasn’t had their morning coffee 😂
Free money? I work longer hours than I've ever worked for anyone else. Why are you even a subscriber?? You always watch the videos on RUclips for free so that's a bit entitled of you is it not to expect people not to earn enough to live?
Infact Nobby, you're here... watching my vlogs in their entirety, commenting multiple times AND you're even subscribed! Whilst you're at it... here is my patreon if you'd like to support my endeavours further: www.patreon.com/usernamekate/membership 👼
does it have the anti-stall feature like the new speed triple RS?
Get yourself a decent drip tray!!
