I'm actively seeking opportunities in IT and would love to discuss how my skills and experience could benefit your team. Please let me know if there are any openings or if you'd like to connect.
Hey Richel! I'm currently learning UI/UX design. Your redesign is truly outstanding, and the way you present the results is truly remarkable. I'm curious to know if you'll be demonstrating the results in the video. It would be super helpful for me to improve the quality of my designs. I'm also wondering if anyone who sees my comment could share their thoughts about it. Thanks a bunch!
All I can say is WOW that was incredible!! Please keep up the great work sharing your thinking and process! I wish this video was longer with more details and a side-by-side comparison between the before and after screens. Thank you, Rachel!!
I tried to redesign the 'ticket review' screen by myself before watching the whole video, just to see how close I can get to you. I knew that since I am beginner but still I tried my best to think like a professional product designer and thought about the user's needs and how can I save most of their times. At the end , the redesign came well. There were so many things I did exactly like you. I feel this is the best way to analyse your design skills. Design something and then look at someone designing the same thing and understand her perspective to solve problems. This was just great redesign Rachel. Thanks for this!!❤❤
The redesign looks sooo good, the beautifully made video presentation at the end though 😍 I would LOVE to see a video about how to make an impressive presentation like that! 🙏
That's a commendable re-design and I love this way of practicing your skills. I have a small piece of feedback: - "Who will be watching" Screen (2nd Screen): --- Details like the mall name and seats might be unnecessary since users rarely change malls or theatres, and the seat labels aren’t self-explanatory. Omitting them could simplify the experience. - Progress Bar: --- Adding a line at the bottom of the red gradient could hint at how many steps are left. - Last Screen: --- Guide users back to the home screen and explain how to return to the scanner later, as many won’t use it immediately. Please share your thoughts if you don't agree with me.
this is so good, more of this type of video please. I really love the mockup animation and the design result is great. and also the trailer on the ticket screen is so clever
Hi Rachel! I love your UI/UX redesign series so much! It's the best video of this type I've seen on RUclips so far. It's educational and engaging. I've learned so much, and all your designs are so elegant and clean. Looking forward to the next one:)
I recently discovered your channel, and I must say, it has great content. As a UI/UX professional myself, I often find issues not because the designer overlooked small details like inconsistent font size, colors, or misalignment, but rather due to product owners lacking UI/UX skills or being resistant to changes. In many medium to large companies, reliance on assumptions without proper data or user insights is a common challenge. It's a daily battle for me. By the way, excellent content!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the movie clip that plays at the success screen. The whole prototype got me in my feelings (for real) like, how can micro-interactions speak so much message?? So glad you're my mentor/role model @Rachel How ♥♥♥♥♥
It's wonderful to observe your design process and UI/UX research. In my real-world experiences, we often lack the luxury to add truly awesome features or interesting interactions. If you're fortunate, you get to design with real user data instead of relying on personal assumptions. Occasionally, the frontend UI may look appealing but lacks adherence to UI/UX best practices. Some companies don't prioritize user research, while others believe in research but struggle with budget constraints.
Really impressive!, the little touch in animation makes huge different than before from the app✨. Really love this content, cause it makes me want to levelup my skill as a UI/UX Designer. Thank you very much🔥🙌
Excited to see you on my notification! Can you share tips on handling intimidating design files in partially completed projects? It can be overwhelming, and I'd love your insights. Keep up the great content!✨
Awesome! It's very similar to United State's AMC's movie app (AMC is America's largest movie theatre chain), which I think has perfected the UI/UX for booking movie theatres.
what a amazing redesign dude.. crazy .., really gave me a lot of inspiration ., and thanks for guiding in proper use of mobbin.,,, love from one of ur subscriber👍👍
Hi Rachel, love the redesign 🔥... Wondering - how do you make those fancy animated mockups showing the result? You've inspired me present some of my work in a more engaging way like that!
Awesome work! I loved how well and detailed you transformed the user flow. I'd just suggest to break down the payment process a bit further. I'm talking about after pressing continue (step 3 - rewards page), and before receiving the QR code. You can insert a payment process there, so it'll correspond more to reality. Thanks for your educational video! I believe many can benefit from it 😄✨
Great video Rachel! The design you created looks far better than the one they had originally. I do have a question tho, what app did you use to animate the intereaction with the mockup at the end? Thank you 🙏
Great work with a short time, i think that you can mention the discount info in the 1s screen that would incourage the customer to purshase and increase the conversion rate
Back button? :D Or a dynamic nav tab header for quick switching between the Steps pages would be good too. Let users identify early the number of steps setting expectations and the tabs minimize width after you switch.
Your design was amazing! One suggestion though. What if we change the subtle red gradient on the last slide with the QR code to green? That would show that the process is now complete and we can go back to the home page. I know the brand colour is red but still. Would love to know your views
Thank you for watching! Great feedback too. I think green is a great idea! Kinda cool if the subtle red gradient gradually animates into green.... to show that the process is complete :)
Amazing process! thanks Rachel! Just curious on some points though-- as this process is pretty similar to my day-to-day process, but I have been struggling to tell how I make data-driven decisions, in this case, how would you answer this question? 2. would you share the final animated mockup?! that is sooo nice!!
That was great. I will start with your videos. I am psychology student and i will be ux designer. My friend is Graphic design student. He is studying on UI design and he asked me to work together. I don't know how to start but i will start.
Hi Rachel, I kid you not but I had the same frustration as you when I was last booking The Boy & The Heron via app. Especially confusing was the pricing & promotion for this movie in addition to the inability to apply my voucher (I bought a voucher from Klook) which resulted in me having to go to the cinema’s counter few hours prior to get it sorted. I’m taking up my course on UXD soon, your channel is an immense help and inspiration to me! ❤
This is so amazing, my mind is blown by how this imterface is transformed to create a better experience, that is both visually appealing and functionally easy to navigate. What I am most inspired by is how you presented your final design. Is this all done in Figma?
Hi Rachel! now I learned how to show a great presentation. How did you transform the Figma prototype into a video the last part with the device rotating?
Fantastic video, Rachel! As being a UI Designer Myself, Your content is truly motivational. It's refreshing to see such innovative takes on redesigning experiences, particularly with your insightful understanding of visual elements and aspects. The presentation at the end was particularly striking. I'm curious, what software did you use to create that presentation video?
I love your videos, they're so easy to follow through and have great content! :D Quick question: how did you make the movie poster "slide down"? I´ve been looking around the internet for the past hour but I can't find the right setting :0

Great vid! One thing I would do differently is in regards to choosing the people who are gonna be watching: it would make more sense to put that before the seat choice because how would you know which of the seats to cancel if you were to click minus on the "who's watching" page? Also the seats are a bit too small for a mobile app IMO but I get that you didn't have time to design that whole seating map.
Hey rachel i would like to know how you are able to interact with every piece of the page? what are you working from(app)? I loved seeing this and it sparked some curiosity in me for the learning the process.
wow i can't believe all of this is only done in Figma! do you share your figma files? i just want to get an idea on how you structure the files, components etc
hi, im curious how you do those promotional videos, they look so great, the parts where the phone screen is there on the middle and like the phone rotates and moves around
Thanks for sharing. I get a design exercise but the feedback is that my visual design is not strong. Which tool do you use for the final product video? Also, you add a black overlay on the images? Thanks.
Hi, the only thing I find uncomfortable to select are the seats, maybe I would enlarge them a little bit since there is the functionality to navigate with the fingers as if it were a map.
Nice video as always, I learn a lot with you everyday. Tysm. I love the results, but maybe I'd change the red gradient on the top of the app! Can you teach us how to make an efficient loading and or confirmation screen, please?!
It's really amazing! The last showcase part is insane Would be really great if you can share software tools, tips for how to present 3D animation like that Looking forword for more content! 🥹

Hi, can you make a tutorial on how you made that prototype animation in the end. It was amazing 😮
Yeah it will be super cool. 👌 ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️. I love that ending animation it's so sleèkkkkkk
Loved your prototype and the whole video backdrop experience. Can you share how this was build?

What a beautiful redesign! The little popcorn animation and trailer after the purchase went through really sold the cinema experience!
Aww thanks! Glad you enjoyed this one :)

Wow Rachel! This is a wonderful redesign and A+ editing and story telling 😍 I especially resonate with that "4 hours have past" 🤣
I tried to redesign the 'ticket review' screen by myself before watching the whole video, just to see how close I can get to you. What an outstanding redesign: simple, yet efficient and understandable. I love it:)
I would change last continue button to confirm because that’s when user click to make the final payment
Ahhhh great feedback! Thank you Ivan ☺️

as always! love this series
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for watching, as usual!
May I ask what tools you used to showcase your app in a 3D mockup video format? GREAT design and thought process and overall presentation!!
Thank you for sharing this! It's so valuable!!! Finally get the idea on how to practice design critiques and design skills. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✨️

Hoooow you built this final interactive prototype for the demo video?! Where did you make it "alive"?
What program do you use for presenting those mock up videos? That was very crisp, do you happen to use a template?
Great redesign!
How did you animate the demo at the end?
This is really cool Rachel - how did you create the mockup animation?
