You’re right. This is a little monkey that was raised by one of the VOs there but Candy (aka Rosa) apparently didn’t get much attention at all from the humans she lived with as evidenced by her grabbing another monkey, literally anywhere on its body and not wanting to let go. Candy (Rosa) didn’t get any affection. She was probably just left in a cage, fed and then let out every now and then and then when they were through filming her, stuck her back in the cage. She was clearly never allowed to cling to anyone. Her only friend was that old dish rag she used to hold onto.
Not only that. These same people who video them also abuse and steal them. I’ve been there and seen it. They cause accidents all the time. Fights, death etc .

It is a tragedy that the team at this camp even accepted Candy in the first place. They supposedly have a very strict list of characteristics each abandoned monkey brought to the camp, these monkeys have to follow for safety concerns. However, from what I have read, candy was not up to standards in any way. So why did they allow this horrific tragedy to occur!??!

2. It’s not that simple! Monkeys eat on a strict hierarchy; bigger more dominant monkeys eat first, then smaller weaker ones. A monkey caught eating out of turn will be ATTACKED if caught, like baby Daniella, who was fed by an ignorant camera man and then killed by the older monkeys right after.

She was originally Rosa. Feeding her is a huge part of the problem!! She doesn't follow the troops rules which means she has to wait until the higher ups eat

Candy was terrified by one and all. Nice and nasty were all terrifying to her.

Candy def. was scared. These monkeys babies shows their emotions on their faces. But Candy was much more open to the other monkeys around. She didn't run from them. She knew she was one of them. I watched her asking the others. I believe if her owner just slowly introduce her back in she may have had a chance. Kinda like Sovana.

Wrong. She was originally Rosa. She adored her human mom. She's not scared of the VOS. She wants to go back to their house. She's terrified of the other monkeys that want to shut up her screaming. She's been rescued and released more than once. People get angry when you take them away from their environment to help. Then when they release them, the same people say abuse. 🙄

Majority of them get dumped because by the time they are 6 months to a year old they're getting extremely destructive and they start getting more and more aggressive and those natural wild instincts start coming out. I would bet that this one was loud and probably started to get aggressive in the home but now it's with others ofnits kind and it just never adapted. On the flipside, if it had never been taken as an infant and this is just the way it acted from birth, it would have been killed by a troop member in record time.
@@vixxenreigns before she was dumped she lived with humans and a second smaller monkey. She was extremely jealous and would regularly hurt the other monkey who was just a baby and half her size. She was released shortly after.

Candy was a smart and sweet little baby she was incredibly scared all the time because the people who stole her as a baby must have really abused her for her to be so neurotic all the time. RIP sweet little Candy !

You don't understand she was someone's pet and they spoiled her and loved her and then one day they just dumped her back in the wild and when they do that lip smacking and smile like that they're very scared
I doubt you have viewed the 168 videos of her infancy until she was dumped. In no way was she spoiled. Fed, bathed and housed is all she got. Nearly zero interaction or cuddling or any emotional contact with her handlers who later dumped her and then videotaped her torturous short existence. As a result she craves secure contact and emotional connection with anyone trying deeply to quench those needs by clinging to others. Look up Monkey Rosa or Baby Rosa. After much criticism in comments the jerks who raised and filmed her deleted all but 12 initial episodes that are still available for viewing.
That's cruel to dump these animals back in wild they can't survive after been raised by humans if u got it as a pet keep it instead of abandoned it would u do. Your kid that way wth people u can't just teat these animals like this it needs to be stopped

I noticed she lip smacks a lot when she's nervous or scared. I'm curious about how she holds her hand towards her waist when she's scared and stands up. She's terrified. I didn't think she would make it very long because of making a bunch of noise and clinging. 🙄

She actually got much better dealing with other monkeys.. YOu can tell if you watch her videos. She reaches a point where she barely made any sound and never tried to cling around .. it was the crew recording her that kept brining towels and crap to her so she never integrated. It was not mistake, it was on purpose. The purpose of this monkey, for this people, was to die in a horrible way.. and it happened.. just as planned.

Your comments show a basic need to know more about our history with domestication. The animals we have as pets or who work for us have been cultivated in a sense over thousands of years slowly altering genetic proclivities via selective breeding to adapt well with human culture. Now we could do this with monkeys but it will take time however with modern gene splicing and manipulation considering that we have the very formula of genetic structure this process of domestication could be sped up considerably. But no overnight.
