Such pathological behaviors are indicative of severe breakdowns among Rhesus who are trained to the tune of a reed whip for street tricks, which usually leads to their termination via selling off to animal testing (as they are too mentally broken even for coconut retrieval). This is the actual reason why I constantly accuse this family of training their monkneys to walk upright via stick-training: first, because we know that stick-training is the fastest way to train to walk upright (not pulling hands vertically as is shown sometimes on video in misleading fashion), second, that it is a composite tool for balancing the arms off the ground as well as for punishment in such trainings, third, because repeated applications (especially in frustration) to younger, intellectually slower or wilder monkeys will inevitably cause them to go insane, a principle long handed-down by street trainers as a cautionary tip to avoid the expense and time lost with having to start the training process over. These babies are born longing to be touched, caressed, close body contact with their mothers and others in the troop. Don't you think Candy needed that closeness at that age. Never knew mom. These are taken so quickly from mom so that they do not emotionally attach and then subsequently refuse to risk feeding elsewhere. It is why you seldom see kidnapped monkeys feeding from their kidnappers (though it does happen, as Rose's kid swap showed) unless the kidnapping happens prior to the baby mapping out Mom in the first few days of life (Martin, Calvin).

This breaks my heart. If you haven’t watched the videos months later of her as “Candy“ you are missing some sweet episodes of her trying to fit in with the new gang without quite knowing monkey manners creating chaotic scenes very funny but sad. She was a real sweetheart that needed constant reassurance and physical contact. Laugh out loud scenes of her clinging on to the other monkeys desperately not letting go until she is literally peeled off like a leach. But so sad to watch her gyrating about looking for her lost family and crying out to them. Crazy fact is that they raised her to abandon her later so they could film her trying to fit in with a troop of monkeys she’d never seen before. Guaranteed to make good copy and generate lots of views.

Not a predictable disaster, a deliberate disaster. Almost like raising dogs or roosters for fighting, they set them up to fail, with no monkey rules they have to be quik and smart and learn to obey or they will eventually die. Sono anni che è morta!!, quando ha avuto circa 5 mesi è stata rilasciata tra i suoi simili in natura e loro l'hanno uccisa.Comunque vedendo il video è evidente la sofferenza che ha avuto quest'animale da neonato aveva bisogno di moltissime attenzioni che solo la madre poteva dargli basti pensare che rimangono attaccati alle madri per quasi due mesi e fanno anche i loro bisogni fisiologici sul loro corpo ,e abituarsi senza per la loro indole è innaturale, quindi lasciate questi esseri in natura e se la madre muore io penso che è meglio che muoiano anche loro perché facendoli sopravvivere così è solo causa di traumi e sofferenza per loro e poi quando verranno rimessi in natura perché sono animali selvaggi e già da adolescenti sono pericolosi vengono uccisi dagli esemplari selvaggi perché non sanno come comportarsi e infrangono le regole

This breaks my heart. If you haven’t watched the videos months later of her as “Candy“ you are missing some sweet episodes of her trying to fit in with the new gang without quite knowing monkey manners creating chaotic scenes very funny but sad. She was a real sweetheart that needed constant reassurance and physical contact. Laugh out loud scenes of her clinging on to the other monkeys desperately not letting go until she is literally peeled off like a leach. But so sad to watch her gyrating about looking for her lost family and crying out to them. Crazy fact is that they raised her to abandon her later so they could film her trying to fit in with a troop of monkeys she’d never seen before. Guaranteed to make good copy and generate lots of views.

Not a predictable disaster, a deliberate disaster. Almost like raising dogs or roosters for fighting, they set them up to fail, with no monkey rules they have to be quik and smart and learn to obey or they will eventually die.
