The Bear Adapt 2 with RTH-Plus accessory kit is the setup chosen by the guys at Hunting Public for the 2024-25 season. The bow is a 31-inch, single-cam compound, with a dovetail for integrate-style rests and a Picatinny rail for mounting a sight. The Ready-to-Hunt Plus kit includes the Trophy Ridge Swift Duo sight, Whisker Biscuit V rest, stabilizer, five-arrow quiver and a peep sight.

How does you using a longbow make the rest of us clueless?

@@pjreilly3997 read ALL the comments. Guys are bagging on bear bows and this model of compound saying how slow it is, implying that somehow it won't get the job done. The longbow reference is me saying it is approximately 130 fps slower than this compound and it still kills deer every year.

People bagging Bear and this bow on speed, yet The Hunting Public are bagging monsters on public land with this same set up 😅 and not just whitetail either. They’re getting Elk, pronghorn, etc. I’m not sure what else they need to do to prove that you don’t need 340fps to be effective and ethical.

These are great bows. This is the 3rd chrono test I have seen. All were the same and way off IBO. Wish it was closer, but oh well

Love Bear but that's insanely slow, Mikes Archery sound test had it pretty loud, and MFJJ said it had a lot of vibration. Not seeing why anyone would buy this over some of Bears other offerings.

@@plastuu I think the point being made is not so much having an issue with the bow's actual speed but the large discrepancy between the bow's speed and the advertised IBO issued by Bear. Gets to the point where it's a matter of principle and borders on deception.

So this bow is not meant to be flagship quality. They still have those bows in their line, but this isn't one of them. People have different spend ceilings, which is fine. I actually spent time with this bow, set it up, tuned it and shot it at 20 yards, and then backed out to 60. It's not a junk budget bow. If this is the bow someone is able to afford, I can verify they absolutely can be successful with it. It does what it needs to do....
