The cats have been, still today, relationated with the other side. Egyptians adored them. They believed that the cats has the guardians of the gate to other side.
This was all CGI, he passed before this was made. They recorded the movie from ending to the beginning.. Look it up, I've been a Bruce Lee fan and Brandon Lee ever since I was 3
It is actually a raven my friend, the crows they wanted to use didn't have the specific look they were wanting, but for all intensive purposes in the film, it's a crow.
I couldn't agree more with that statement and I have the graphic novel and I love this movie and Brandon Lee is a legend and if they remake this movie it will destroy Brandon Lee's legacy! I will be seriously pissed off! I hope when I die I become a crow or a black cat living in a church!
This sequence still gives me chills. It had such a profound impact on me as a teenager, and I felt solidarity with it in some way. A broken person rising from the ashes like a phoenix. I feel like so many who watched it felt his power and breathed his character during this scene. Rest in peace Brandon, gone but never forgotten.
Had the same feeling watching it for the first time when a was a kid, the song for these scene was perfect, but how can't it be perfect when the cure made it
Man, I still remember seeing this back in 1994 with my friends growing up as Teens. The soundtrack was so good. It set the pace for this movie so well. I love this scene. Even have the Soundtrack on my Spotify, it has a very special place in my heart. Also am a Brandon Lee fan too. I may need to find this movie and watch it.
True story: My dad used to work at Harry Winston’s in Beverly Hills. He got to meet Brandon Lee and his fiancée when they went in to buy the rings. My dad said he was a nice guy. Anyhow, it was sad because my dad was there when his fiancée went to return the ring. 😔 He said he felt really bad for her.
Favorite scene of this movie, but sad that it's not Brandon that filmed this scene given the circumstances :( But the stand in, who turns out to be Chad Stahelski (eventually the director of the John Wick films), did well to help finish the movie for Brandon.
Inarguably, the most EPIC "suiting up" scene in a comic book film... Brandon Lee had such an amazing career ahead of him, what a tragedy, but more importantly, what a performance in this film...
People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right. #thecrow is one of the most magnificent movies all because of #brandonlee
Sad fact. That’s not Brandon. He had already died. That’s the stunt double with Brandon’s face superimposed over his. The scene bangs. I can’t think of a better way they could’ve honoured him. RIP, Brandon.
I always felt bad for both him and Massee. One died, the other had to live with the Fact he pulled the Trigger, and it DID take a toll on him. RIP to both.
I always will remember that time of the death of Brandon Lee "The Crow"(1994) when i hear this Movie-soundtrack 🙏🏼😔✝️ i still have the movie on original VHS Videotape, and any later i bought it on DVD. Its still a very emotional memory today.🙏🏼✝️
This scene and the running on rooftops to the music of The Cure and Nine Inch Nails gives me spin chills every single time. It’s so dramatic, iconic and unlike any comic book inspired film that has come since.

I had the chance to see this film for the very first time in a movie theater until last week. Had seen it plenty of times in the past on DVD or TV, but never on the big screen (I was very little when it first hit theaters back in 94). This scene in particular was very powerful and poignant at the same time, knowing that, as iconic as it is, it's painful to know Brandon didn't live long enough to appear in it. The Cure blasting through the speakers, I can't even describe what I was experiencing during the song. Unbelievable to realize I had the chance to see it in that way after 26 years since Brandon's untimely passing. I feel like I finally paid a long due debt with myself and Brandon.
