Oh man, why did they ever cut that line? It’s pure gold.

Because it didn't make sense. Eric didn't call them
@@yifengtoh7529 Yeah, that’s the joke.
We deserve a 3hr long Director's Cut of this epic 90s gem.
With what footage? This version feels like an unfinish3d movie
@@starwarsroo2448This is just wishful thinking. Of course there's no extra footage that extends it to 3 hours. He just wants more out of this great film. I do however disagree with it. Even though The Crow is great, I think adding more to it would detract allot. I say just remove the dumb voiceover in the beginning.
this is gorgeous. they need to restore this film. so much was cut to make it less violent because everyone got spooked after Brandon’s death, but a more complete version would be the right way to honor him and everything he sacrificed for this role
I second that. Excellent suggestion
It was cut for the R-rating
It was cut a bit to avoid it being rated nc 17 .
Since you posted this, it's had a pretty good 4K remaster, little if any additional footage, but it looks great at least.
The more times I re-watch this classic, the more I realize it never needed and DOES NOT need a remake!!!!..
The original crow was an Action film; The remake is a drama. There are no more action movies nowadays
Remake happening can't fuck with original though high stakes to keep up with it
Not a good time to be a bad guy huh lol throws him out widow lmfao
I absolutely agree.
The Crow is showing at Odeon on 3rd June, so I'm educating my Son. He asked if I wanted to watch the remake with him. We haven't spoken in 2 weeks!
Here's a little known fact about Brandon Lee: His next film project after The Crow was Mortal Kombat he was originally suppose to play Johnny Cage. Could you imagine just how much more bad ass that fight scene with Scorpion would have been if Brandon was playing Johnny Cage
just rewatched it and it was almost as bad as the new one. the chick was SO unbelievable lamo and johnny cage actor was just awful. it would still be watchable at least had he been in it. DAMN.
I heard he was supposed to play Liu Kang, because the character itself was actually modeled after his father Bruce Lee.
@@Tomahawk511 he always wanted to avoid being considered a clone of his father that's why he turned down the role of playing his father in Dragon the Bruce Lee story I'm sure the studio probably offered him the role of Liu Kang but he probably rejected it and opted for the role of Johnny Cage
Nope ruclips.net/video/S-pSc-hAWdM/видео.html&ab_channel=brandonbrucelee1965
As much as I would've liked seeing Brandon Lee in Mortal Kombat, I don't think he really would've fit the personality of Johnny Cage. He would've been a great Reptile or Sub-Zero though.
2:05 did anyone catch how he smiled and gave her cheek a little pat before he pushed her off somewhere safe? Gods, the crow is such an utter badass....
Im losing my mind over this little moment tbh
@@greenteawitch2973 Rightfully so ;^)
2:52 Love the strobe light effect and his facial expressions
A piece of me thinks if you let off a thousand five hundred blanks ones got to be real statistically speaking.
@@julessantacarlo2514 This wasn't the scene he was killed in
Now this is more authentic to the comic
Especially, with his laugh, more bloodletting, limbs flying around etc.
Hopefully, there'll be a Director's Cut of this brooding Goth classic 🖤
The final cut looks like they were missing him for almost 3 minutes straight while he wasn't even trying to dodge them. I like it a lot better that he actually gets hit many times over and just keeps going.
There's a very similar scene in the comic where he goes after Funboy and gets properly messed up by the gunfire. One shoots him in the head and as he approaches Funboy after the rest are dead Funboy says "Not wearing a vest, are you Casper?" as blood's pouring down Eric's face.
I like it when he goes full jester mode. The end when he skips away while convulsing from bullets is funny
You'd be surprised to know that Heath Ledger's Joker's costume and makeup was inspired by Brandon Lee's crow. Coincidentally both died after playing their most iconic and legendary roles. We shall never forget them both!
Junayd Ir And both were 28 when they passed.
I know about that
No it wasn't
Brandon Lee died during The Crow not after it was made
False, Ledger died after.
To this day the way he pushes over the chair and jumps onto the table and lands in a perfect cross legged sitting position is still one of my favorite parts of this scene.
Brandon was awesome..they really should put These deleted and extended scenes back in the film and put out a 3 hr film. That would be awesome, like an anniversary type of thing. This movie, like the book, is a masterpiece. This scene is really Brilliantly shot and acted by everyone...Alex is a great director I swear... 👍🏻💯 It's sad because Brandon would have gone on to be like a johnny Depp Heath ledger type of actor. Rest in peace Ledger and Lee 🙏🏻
Brandon choreographed a lot of the fight scenes and struggled because of his martial arts background and not wanting to make the Draven character look too martial artist like. It was amazing how something that came to Brandon so natural needed to be altered, There were scenes he had to keep redoing because his martial arts background was coming into form and had to keep changing it .
Brandon was right, I love how messy Draven looks at times, he moves like someone who doesn't truly know form or theory but he knows a supernatural presence is backing him up and he moves knowing the bullets aren't gonna stop him, and he just needs to put a blade into a key spot, throw someone from a high enough window or ledge, cut an arm off with a chop, pick up a gun he's familier with and since it's from a baddie who tried killing him, it'll already be cocked, locked, with the safety rocked, all he needs to do is point and shoot. The simplicity of his movements makes it seem like a normal guy who was given the gift of invulnerability and knows he's got all the chances to be as reckless as he wants. Practicing on the badguys before this really helped prepare him for a bigger skirmish.
@@danmartin7396 i agree, Eric is just a guy, not martial artist or sharp shooter. But looks cool ngl
This immediately reminded me of Heath's Joker when he first met the mob! The similarity is uncanny!
@sil3nt j So true lol
Chicken and the egg
Omg me too lol
Fuck, i was literally thinking about that part as it came up!
That's because Nolan indeed was inspired by this scene. He revealed that in an interview
Everyone talking about how amazing Brandon Lee was (and I agree) but lets give Alex Proyas props for directing this classic.
I’m honestly surprised that he was never approached to direct a Batman film because his directing style would’ve perfectly fit in a Batman movie
Just a thought; there's a reason why directors gravitate towards certain actors for their films - without Alex Proyas at the helm 'The Crow' wouldn't have been what it is, but without Brandon Lee, there literally is no CROW.
It's hard for me to give props since the director is in charge of making sure everyone is safe. Everyone on that set is implicated.
@@maskcollector6949 actually no, its the prop master that is responsible for checking that all the props are clear and safe. The prop master failed their job, and even admitted fault for it. It's their one job.
@@Mephiston Director should be in charge of everything on set and everyone on set, he's an authority over the prop master. I'd never direct a film with guns without inspecting the inspector, and have at least 3 levels of checking that way, probably 4+. *shows the whole room the chamber is clear without flagging anyone* I agree the prop master is the first one in line who's wrong, but the director is the visionary for the whole production and is tied to every single person on set inherently. I stand by my point. His actor is traumatized by negligence in production, and Michael Massee died early from stomach cancer over the stress of killing Brandon, almost assuredly. The prop master ended up killing two people that way and the director/producers oversaw him. Just because the first level of checking failed doesn't mean there shouldn't be others equally responsible. It was rigged to go off in the first place. Someone could have swapped the checked gun with the rigged gun with sleight of hand like a Hitman assassination - which was likely the case. They were likely all sabotaged. It's why it's so important to check, check, check, and check - every time. Everyone knew Bruce Lee had enemies.
00:30. "So you're him, huh? The Avenger?"
-Fiege: "Get my lawyers on the phone, NOW!"
The one thing I wish this movie would’ve had more of.
Is fight scenes.
I understand Brandon didn’t want this to be a martial arts action movie.
But he was so spectacular when doing fight scenes.
I wish we could’ve seen more.
Watching this and Showdown in Little Tokyo show how damn charismatic Brandon really was, seriously he’s endearing and real, his pronunciation of words really stuck with me.
RIP to Heath Andrew Ledger and Brandon Lee. You, guys are legendary and forever in Loving's memory
I don't know why everyone feels so strongly compelled to bring up Heath Ledger in content that is entirely of Brandon Lee. I mean, I do, because they both died young and wore white makeup in their last movie roles - it's still a bit silly to bring up Ledger unprompted in a Lee conversation.
Why bring up Heath Ledger for? He never died on set. He wasn't in this film and he died from a drug overdose after filming The Dark Knight.
I can't believe I had not seen this yet. This is so much better than the original cut! The fight scenes tie in together and it actually makes sense.
Everybody wasting bullets while brandon was on god mode.

The extended scene is so much better than the final cut. An injustice this wasn’t in the movie as it was.
What's amazing about this scene is it shows you how much punishment the crow can actually take and still be a ruthless killing machine wish they kept this extended bloody cut in the original.
We miss Brandon lee i swear we deserve more of his work
I suppose you're wondering why I've called you all here today.
I love it!
Should have been in the theatrical cut
That scene is absolutely fkn georgeous in it extended form and it kind of shows things i wished were more of in a movie, like more violence and Eric moultiple times being overwhelmed with bullets shot at him. Now its 5 minutes or less of pure massacre. "You're ll going to die" sounded creapy
Brandon Lee is too skilled and too great! Is sad that he did not have the chance to see how great he was.
0:22 Love his laughter than the actual joker.
Between yellow and white
1:28[ Music intro ]"Please fasten your seatbelts" 😃 Brandon delivered the best clear out 🙌
Such a colossal tragedy losing Brandon. He was absolutely unique and incredibly talented. Rest in peace !!
Nonostante che siano passati 28 anni piango ancora adesso per lui è una ferita che non si chiuderà mai.... ciao Brandon ti ricorderò sempre con tanto affetto una tua grande fan dall'Italia
Such a great shoot out, one of the best ever! Would love to see an unrated & extended cut of The Crow!
Skank: Skank's over there. He's Dead.
The Crow: That's right!
Such a skilled actor! He is very good at the guns. I love him! I wil never forget what a good and awesome actor you were Brandon! 😍😍
Michael Wincott, Tony Todd always play villains so well. Wincott in Metro (1996) was just badass. You also get to see the stunt coordinator Jeff Imada as one of the gangsters who was a close friend of Brandon Lee. I was reading about this film and Brandon completed a total of 52 scenes out of 60. The remaining 8 scenes that he missed out on was the flashbacks. Thats where Chad Stahleski and Jeff Cadiente stepped in to shoot the remaining scenes. Brandon Lee would've have been a great Joker had he lived.
A scene he is missing from is T-Bird's death scene. "No, no, you mean that place downtown?" from this line on the camera follows Eric without showing his face. Then "I know you" and it goes to show Eric's face because it was an unused shot to splice into the scene. Then as he tapes T-Bird's head to the seat, you'll notice once again Eric's face is out of the shot. You never see Eric's face during the time he's on the dock with T-Bird, except a few seconds. Eric never speaks in the scene, either.
METRO is very underrated genre great.
And yet it feels like an incomplete movie doesn’t it? A great one though
For the love of good tell me I'm not the only one who finds him attractive, both Eric Draven and his actor
When I first saw the movie on television 24 years ago. (damn Im old) I had instantly a big crush on Eric and it still lasts. The actor himself was a pure soul that left us far too early.
He was absolutely beautiful, It’s a shame that he died because he would’ve been really big had he survived. 💔
Far better than any marvel movie. I love the crow
You can tell that a lot of the MCU films took inspiration from this movie
Thank you for sharing the extended movie scene, I feel in love with the Crow back in 1995 when I first watched the film ❤️❤️❤️
WOW!!! ive never seen this ver before . i think if they kept this in the movie . back then it would have gotten an NC-17 rating . but this just showed how powerful and badass Eric is
R.I.P. Brandon Lee
This movie has so many memoral scenes and quotes. The new one has none of that.
This deleted scene where the first guy shoots and accidentally shoots the other guys across from under the table and they retaliate and shoot back at each other is pretty realistic considering it's a room full of guys with automatic machine guns.. You don't see that in a lot of movies.
Love the extended cut. Still a great movie. Plz god never a reboot again
One of my favorite movies, and soundtracks off all time. Please keep up loading extended scenes! There were a couple extra cool things but overall the editors did a great job with the final product. But getting a couple more laughs and smerks from Eric draven was epic! I hope a new generation that loved the joker will love this. I swear in some scenes from joker they look a lot alike. Was it just me? I wonder in Phoenix even new lee? Thoughts??
How watching a scene can be so epic and fucked up at the same time... This sure hits hard af
Jesus, I watched this movie so many times in the 90's. I need to go dig my dvd out and have another go. So fucking good.
Can we just talk about the fact it took *two* people falling onto the dance floor before everyone fled.
It was a rave i guess, maybe they were used to people falling from above.
Given how much of a hellhole the Crow's universe is, they're probably very used to long repeated bursts of gunfire
The best movie ever made! Love The Crow!
Best Crow ever
If Brandon Lee was alive, he would be in the cast of John Wick
And matrix. I heard he was considered for the role of Neo. But he died and the role was passed on to Keanu
Brandon would've been very old for the role tbh
@@Anubis-xk4ht Keanu Reeves is older and keeps kicking ass
@@LeonardoKlotz I don't know if he would've still looked the same plus in case you don't know John wick is also a comic book character

RIP Brandon Lee 😢😢😢😢😢 0:50
This isnt the scene which he died in. That was when tbirds crew were raping shelly and they shot Eric and threw him out of the window.
I miss brando lee.. he was a promise 😔
Is so sad his tragic fate

0:34 it cannot be stated enough how gorgeous he was in this scene
I see the movie when it comes out 1993 in cinemas ... see it seven or eight times in this year ... awesome ... so real good badass 🤘💀
1994
Esta escena es magnífica! La luz, la atmosfera que genera la música, la oscuridad manejada a la perfección permitiendo entender cada momento! La versión del 2024 lo único que hace es darle más brillo a la primera y única. La del 94! Que emotivo ver esto!
The Crow needs no remakes only a 3hr extended 4k remaster
I cant believe they cut all this extra action out of the movie. But the extra fights was all good ofc 👍🏻🤙🏻👍🏻🤙🏻👍🏻🤙🏻👍🏻🤙🏻
I like how the asian guy shoots at the bottom of the table and something that wasn’t in the movie was that he shot his own crews legs and got killed for it but NOT before being called a stupid f**k by the guy who kills him 😭😭🙏
I am fortunate to have the Director's Cut version which had so much more awesome deleted scenes and adds to the emotional depth of the violence and spiritual beauty of the movie. Those who think of remakes are clearly void of ideas for creativity and lacks conviction as well as devotion to genuity. Love the original Crow and still do. Remakes be damned, originals are what makes legends.
1:33 boy talking about getting capped 😂
There are a number of reasons why they could have trimmed this scene; could be for pacing, could be to reduce the violence to appease the MPAA, could have been due to Brandon Lee's death. I suspect it was a combination of all three. Even still, I'd love to see an extended cut of this movie with the deleted scenes remastered and restored.
Villain at 0:30: "You're him, huh, the Avenger."
Brandon Lee: "Don't ever confuse me with those p-ssies."
Best shoot out ever no running or hiding ducking for cover just a supernatural force of nature cleaning house.
PoP FacT
This scene right here was the culprit for the whole John Wick Franchise Gun Fu.
Only the first seconds I didn't see in the movie, but most of the rest is in the movie I think. My all time favorite movie❤
So anyone notice Brandon being wrapped in ducktape around his stomach while Top Dollar's crew were shooting at him?
That's because of another scene that was cut. Originally there was another supernatural character called the Skull Cowboy who explains to Eric the 'rules' of having come back from the dead and one of those rules is that he will no longer be invulnerable if he helps anyone outside of his revenge mission. When he removes the morphine from Darla's veins Funboy wakes up in the bath and comes at him with a razor blades, slashing him. As helping Darla was outside of the rules, his wounds don't heal, so he literally tapes himself up to stop the blood loss.
One of my favorite moments in the movie; "I ain't Skank! He's over there! Skank's dead!" "That's right." *CRASH!!!!!* Love that moment! I couldn't agree more that Hollyweird shoulda left well enough alone, but of course, as we well know...*sigh*
I can see why they'd cut some of this, there are a LOT more scenes of Eric, and to a lesser extent, Brandon Lee getting just lit up with bullets, that, considering his tragic and preventable death, might almost seem in poor taste. I have a pretty strong stomach for this kind of thing and even then, contextually, it was a little hard to watch him just get blasted over and over. It can derail the pacing of the scene, too, when Brandon has to stop to get shot a hundred times, but I can't lie, some of the kills they cut are just exceptional and I wish they'd kept them. More of the katana kills, longer stabbings, the extended shots of Eric firing while the muzzle flash lights up his face, just lighting up that guy's legs, etc. That, and I think him taunting the mob works a little better to show he's enraged but still willing to have a little fun with his killing spree like when he hops out of the scene to evade the police. His opening lines as he walks in and makes himself at home is great too, he's unphased by all of these suited mafiosos and he lets them know that, but the second he lays eyes on Skank, he's seething, and they're in his way.
Rest in peace Brandon Lee
This is so much better than the original cut.
I see the shootout scene in The Matrix here. Massively influencal movie.
So did the movie blade with Wesley snipes.
Fantastic Classic Movie
This scene should've stayed in the movie!
Great scene...i prefer this full versione.
100th Comment🤣🤣😎 I ain't EVER seen this Extension of that scene and it's AMAZING😎 They SO should have used this in the film😎😎 BEST FILM EVER😊😎
They need this movie in full instead of any sequel! I watch this deleted scene stuff on my blu ray all the time and just wish it was not cut from the movie.
4:34 lmfao that goofy dance he does trying to escape while the cops shoot at him.
I hope they make a full cut of the movie with all the deleted scenes
I just hope one day all of those cuts are released…
This certainly deserves a remastering!!! #Masterpiece
And a director's cut or the release of the unrated version.
Just imagine in 1994 he had the vision that this could be a film today, the batman, the dark Knight, joker, john wick, the matrix, rquilllibrium, the frightners and so many many movies copied the shit out of this movie. Imagine Brandon lee had the vision that this isn't a marvel super hero but a realistic dark take on superheros. This movie is a masterpiece.
This is so badass🔥🔥
I love how the gangsters can fully see that this guy is capable of getting up after being shot 100 times but they're like "lets just keep shooting him surely it'll fucking work eventually!"
Should’ve left this masterpiece alone.
wish they kept that line suppose you're wondering why I called you all in today. It shows his sarcasm like the joker but as an antihero.
One of my favorite scenes, along with my life with the thrill kill kult playing downstairs.
The original "The Avenger", I remember that quote when he originally said this in 1994.
Everyone is saying they should have kept the original cut, but given how he died I think they edited down just to show more respect to the family. He gets shot a lot already on the theatrical release, something like this definitely should be bonus content/extras. I think they made the right call.
They edited it down in order for the film to keep an R rating. After Brandon Lee’s death, the MPAA became very strict on how much violence and blood could be in the film
J'espere qu'on aura les versions coupés dans le 4k au mois de mai !!!
Gracias al que subio esto.
I think this version is much better and cooler, but it was removed out of respect for Brandon Lee
I like what he says, almost making fun of Michael Wincott’s awesome speech!
Brandon Lee 🖤🏆🥇💔⌛🕯️🕊️🖤
Can't someone stitch all the cut scenes into the movie? We NEED this.
Would have done nothing but greatly added to the masterpiece.
I think it's a damn shame that we don't have director's cuts for this and The Crow: City of Angels already available. The Crow is already a masterpiece, but this added violence really makes the action sequences far more intense. The Crow: City of Angels was butchered beyond comprehension, so that film would benefit the most from a much needed extended version and it's the one that I think would drastically alter how people perceive the movie overall.
*I keep seeing people here mention Heath Ledger's Joker, for obvious reasons, though a lot of people don't seem to know that David S. Goyer (who co-wrote The Dark Knight Trilogy) also wrote the screenplay for The Crow: City of Angels. These first-two Crow films reflect quite a bit in what we see of Heath's Joker; especially some of the scenes which were deleted from The Crow: City of Angels.
I wish they'd release the movie with all these extra shots restored.
