Not to be Negative Nancy, but you should probably just have opened an ecrater store. It's free and the only traffic you are going to get is what you drive there yourself. So you could do that with ecrater, and no monthly fee. You could have your own domain name that drives traffic to the store landing page. Unless you've got a couple thousand a month to put into advertising and marketing, I think you're in for tough times ahead...
I appreciate your comment but, ecrater is another platform type of site, and missing many features needed to own and operate your own website. Ecrater also limits you to certain products as well. I have had my site already a few years and just smashed my last year's numbers. Am I getting huge sales no, but this is a work in progress and nothing worth having is a fast success I have found. I do get some organic traffic off free searches by using keywords and yes, I do spend some $$ on advertising but much less than you mentioned. I am working on building a business with repeat customers. Also like I said in the video there is many choices out there. It honestly depends upon what each person envisions and what they want to build for themselves. Have a Good Evening.
Yes, this is not for the faint of heart. It is a lot of work. It is definitely growing and wanted to start sharing my experiences, and triumphs and tribulations. I wouldn't trade it for anything. As a small business owner with a website, I will say more people should do it, but most people are too lazy.

humbly suggest you change title first few words in title they should be your keywords
