Hey David you'd be proud of me!!....I went out today played a great round 9/9 great tee shots because I did what you said that is "trust your swing". Thanks again David you've improved my game!
Heading to the range and try your philosophy of a draw. I like what you said “it’s how you feel, your feel. I get it now. Thank you sir!! You’re my new bestie
Thanks David. That was the best description on how to hit a draw, I've ever heard. Now I will have to try those 2 ways and see if it works (the hard part)!
Needed this shot today a couple of times. First was a Par 5 when I hit my tee shot slightly left and was partially blocked by the trees. 3-iron just like this video although I overdid it a bit ended in the light rough a couple of yards off the left side of the fairway. (Came away with a birdie after a perfect nine iron to within 2 feet). Second was tee shot on a dogleg left Par 4 where the fairway narrows between 2 'ball-magnet' lakes. Same shot, same 3-iron - a bit close to the left hand lake but was on the causeway between the lakes. (My 3 playing partners who had all laid up with their tee shots put all their second shots into the water!)
My upright swing path always works against me hitting a draw. But that's a path that follows from my anatomy and what feels comfortable. It would be a real struggle for me to hit that beautiful draw you showed us. I might just have to be content to enjoy it from afar.
Bernhard Langer explaining how to Draw and Fade the golf ball 0 45 draw 1 38 fade (to speed things up) also: high quality ball, sharp grooves, club speed, reasonable AoA, pure contact (speaking of moisture, sand, grass etc/flyer), appropriate data; as a rule of thumb: face to path = -½(club path)
Thanks David! This helped me on my weekly golf outing. I have all the confidence in setting up and hitting the draw. Is ball placement center or just right of center? Thanks again!
Thanks David, yes mate you Are helping us these videos are Excellent very clear very easy to understand and follow...cheers mate Merry Frosty Xmas from sunny Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Cannot do this !- years trying to rid myself of my slice - so now I have a set up that " mostly " gives me a straight shot ! Am scared to mess around - but will give this a go ! Seems so simple but obviously I am doing more than I think I am doing - which is the key to understanding these swing issues !
understand the 2 parts, the club path and the club face. As a right hand golfer if the face of the club is pointing left of the path then you will get a ball flight curving left. Practice getting this shape and then you have the chance of getting a draw.
The challenge is to also understand at what point the ball will start turning…suppose I am on a 200yd dog leg vs an approach shot as you demonstrated…suspect we need to make some changes…pl help us to understand
@TheResourcefulCoach PGA Mafia gave me a really hard time.....I have no respect for PGA.....backstabbers imo....and PGA SWING is NOT the only swing.....PGA even gave Bob Toski (great player and instructor) grief.....do you really think playing professionals use PGA swing???....really??
@ Coaches like myself don’t stick to PGA Methods, I use ideas from all the areas I have coached in. Yes, some PGA ideas, Nicklaus/Flick, New Golf Thinking, Mind Factor, FlightScope and many other mind techniques. Totally agree Tour Players have found their way and that’s what I do with my golfers, find what they want and work with them to achieve this.

Great to hear when people have success

Glad you liked the description, give the 2 ideas a go and see which one works for you

shows you’ve got the shot, just need to practice it to make it more consistent

Sometimes you have to play with what you’ve got.
Colin Montgomerie worked on changing his fade to a draw and it didn’t work out too well

Bernard Langer is the ultimate player who would never miss anything out.

Sounds good in Sydney, quite like the sunny frosty mornings in the uk

Nice job as ever David. Any advice on how to avoid a hook when you’re drying the ‘feel’ approach?
Don't be concerned if you hit a few hooks, this shows you have the correct idea, it's then getting the balance for the correct shape you want
I’m struggling with hitting a draw. I set up as you suggested but always seem to block the ball right. Great video.
Keep practicing, the block is the correct path, get the feel of the club face turning through the ball
The challenge is to also understand at what point the ball will start turning…suppose I am on a 200yd dog leg vs an approach shot as you demonstrated…suspect we need to make some changes…pl help us to understand
Thanks for ideas for future videos
This really helps…thank you.
Glad it helped!
I need this in my game
Give the ideas a go and hopefully it will be part of your game
Thank you 🙏
No problem
A High draw with a long iron is the most coveted shot in golf
Definitely fun
🇨🇦👀🍻
👍
PGA.....if I see that, then......I don't watch
That's a shame, as my videos focus on mind and on course lessons

@TheResourcefulCoach maybe I under-estimated you .....have a nice day
