It sounds very nice, but my concern would be that the fipple would wear out too quickly, just like the one on my Oak whistle. i can live with the Oak fipple wearing out, because it costs $11.00 but a whistle that costs about $80.00 would need to have a more solid material in the fipple.
@@philhardywhistles good to know. And given your video on the tuning slides not needing regreasing, even after decades, I'm assuming this should be a similar situation. Thanks!
A great instrument. Loud, bright and sweet. Very good !!!
Love mine. Great easy to play whistle with wonderful tone. Great job Phil. Now do I really need a busker high D? 🤣🤣
Would love to hear it compared to other whistles of the same range :) Sounds very promising!
Okay I was debating between the busker d and the Cobre d and I just listened to them back to back and this one has me sold💗
Just ordered one.. like the sound on the demo
Looks a lot like Picard's Ressikan flute.

They don't wear out if you don't bite them. They are replaceable and if you buy one they are guaranteed for life so free fipple if it does wear out.
what is the last slow tune called?
Hi, Any delays in shipping to the US because of the corona-virus going on, thanks.
Hey Phil, how do you keep the aluminum from being corroded by the copper due to galvanic interaction? Are you coating the metals with something?
Optileb GR UF 1.
