Can you PLEASE show a video on the 2-door top install? There are significant differences, especially in the door surrounds and cable routing. The instructions are not clear, but there are no photos or videos of the 2-door JK anywhere on the Internet.
Instructions were pretty bad. The drawings on the hardware page didn't match the size or scale of the components (thankfully they were all in different quantities), and the names of the components changed throughout the instructions (another no no when writing technical documentation). Although my friend and I got the top on we're not sure it's 100% right. A video would be super helpful.
🚨DON’T BUY 🚨 Yes, a chinaman (and I say that with respect compared with the lazy bums at WorstTop) could have written clearer instructions. The absence of an install video for the much more commonly purchased 2-door JK model is inexcusably lazy.
I have got a 2010 jeep wrangler 4 door I got the top do u use the factory windshield Channel or do I have to buy a different one if so would u happen to have the website to the one I need
Great video! I've watched several review and install videos on this top. I'm still left with an imprtant question. I know the sunrider top is there, but does it fold back for the rear seat to be exposed too? And,,, what if i want to completely remove the top? I get it won't fold back like the factory soft top, but can the top portion be removed and replaced as needed?
Hey Joe, Thanks! This top's Sunrider feature does not fold back to expose the rear seat, just the front seats. For the JKU, we have the Trektop Glide, the Supertop Ultra, and Supertop NX that have a larger Sunrider that will provide a sunroof for all four passengers. The top portion (or deck as we refer to it) can be removed completely in a few minutes on this Trektop Pro. Like you said, it does not fold, but it can be left in the garage for the day. Let us know if you have any other questions!
I have this top and it's been nice, but recently I've developed some serious wind noise coming through at the header. Seems like latching is really easy, much easier than when it was new. Is there a way to tighten anything that would causes the latches to pull down harder or make the top fit tighter at the header?
Hi! I do not have any tips on how to address that, but I would highly recommend calling our customer service team about that. Their number is 800.845.3567 or can be reached via email at csbestop@bestop.com.
I just installed the two-door version of this... two issues. 1) the springs on the 4-door version you show looping around a nub on the door frame. There doesn't appear to be any nub on the 2-door version... so the spring wires are just "there"... not sure the purpose. 2) when the sunroof is open, the canvas gets slightly 'pinched' in the rods of the back portion of the hinge. It's not a huge deal but I'm worried that over time it may wear the material. Suggestions on either of these welcome.
Did you ever figure out the spring routing? Also, did your top have straps to secure it to the soundbar? Or was that a misprint in the instructions? (My 2-door top has no straps)
I love the look and would have one if: 1) The sunrider design was like the factory and didn't need the extra bow up front. 2) An option for non sliding windows 3) You offered the rear glass without the holes for those not using a rear wiper. Using plugs to cover the holes just looks cheap.
Thank you for this video. I have a 2013 JK and had this top installed 2 years ago. I now want to ride without the top during warm weather, without having to take everything off. However, i have run into some challenges. Can someone please advise how to convert to topless with this model (without removing the entire frame)? thank you.
The easiest way to do this is to simply remove the windows and the deck. I would recommend leaving the hardware on there as it would take a while to remove and then install again.
Lazy company! It’s so frustrating to the consumer whose spent over a THOUSAND dollars that WorstTop did not take the time to shoot 2 install videos; one for the 4-door JKU, and the other for the 2-door JK. You lack the latter.
We went back to paper instructions, we had the QR code for a while then realized the majority of our customers prefer the paper instructions! I'm so sorry for any inconvenience.
Great video. Thank you so much! This video was spot on to help us put my new Bestop on! Seriously couldn’t have done it any easier without it!
Great video. I bet us TJ/LJ community would love if you made ours with at least the rear window glass and lift like the JK Trektop Pro has :)
This helped immensely! The wife and I got our new top on our 2012 Sahara Unlimited! Thanks!
Excellent video - thanks for posting! I needed some detail about replacement of the rear window pneumatic struts, and this video showed it perfectly!

I just got this top but has missing pieces, the 2 brakets for the halo
What colour top is shown in the video? The black twill or the Granite Grey Twill?

Wow…no reply from WorstTop.🙄 No surprise there.

Thanks for the feedback!
Still no JL version?
Can you guys please make this for the JL??!!
We are thinking about it is all I can say here. Thanks for the interest in the Trektop Pro!
Yo This guy looks like Hector from Fast & The Furious 😂😎😎😎
I'll let Lee know!
For Bestop to reach more viewers and clients/potential clients the videos should all be captioned (not automated captions).

For $2k+ I should get paper instructions!
