The slag is metastanic acid . It comes from tin solder alloy of the caps . If you drop the silver chloride , you also drop lead chloride from the lead inside the solder . If you boil your chloride precipitate , you can get rid of lead chloride because it is soluble in hot water , while silver chloride it's not . To avoid the slag mess , it is better to digest the fuses in HCl , first . Anyway good job ! If you want big silver , grab some high voltage fuses . Those before the aerial transformers .
My god, how many of them I throw away as waste... Thank's again Dusan, your videos are truly precious during isolation which we live in at this moment. Stay safe bro!
Will start saving theese too then. I have saved all the whole ones. But i often find ones soldered to a cap with legs on each end and i have never bothered with them. Thanks for another great video. Have learned to save quite many odd and before not thought about components thanks to you!
Excellent, thank you very much. I heard that rumor some time ago about silver inside glass fuses. You and your family are in my prayers during these strange times, be well my friend.
Suprising result. I would need to leave them in hcl for an entire summer. Maybe the silver would eventually crumble into silver chloride, after everything else gets dissolved.
Seems like you knew they were silver already... lol since you basically started the isolation process to test. Much easier ways to test, like a test kit for example! Can buy them for like 5 bucks and they last a long time. You just dab a dot of liquid and it turns red for silver
@@Magisktification I keep them all as of last year I got a lot of resisters that have gold in it I didn’t know till last week why I keep all types of thing

great video dusan! I got a few I started saving and hadn't seen anyone process them yet. Just silver, but a 1% return? very nice
Well, not bad, but price of silver make this unworrh truble. But i think in the future silver goes up, so i take every beed. Chears.
Silver wire inside the fuse.what about the ceramic fuse
You should try the little fuses. Not gold one but the silver end ones
I have maybe 30 gram of these.
@@999DusanGoldrecovery I can send you some free if you want so you can do a video
hi my friend
l think there are silver also in bag size fuse (high tension fuse)
I think so.
Wouldn't a dilute nitric acid soak, have helped the filtering process? I have a lot of these fuses.
Yes, but im not in hury, i truly hope to fuse have some PD so i vont less solution, that is the reason.
What do the fuses come from I know there’s small ones in the plugs of exstension cords
hi . fast question please : electroplating + chemichal VS ull chemichal recovery . thnx , and thnx for all the videous :)
Depense of materijal, plating thicknes, price for acid, lot other reason. I use both vays.
@@999DusanGoldrecovery thnx :)
can we open it without breaking the glass?

How many grams of Fuse extracted from them 1.4 grams?
Nice video
What kind of test you used
Ok

That is $1.90 Canadian dollars or 19 beer cans 😅
is this another silver hunt like your cd disk statment!
Good job om diterjemahin, dong menggunakan bahasa indonesia
How much is silver worth where you are from? What can you buy for an ounce of silver?
@@reverendtfg6802 Thanks.
