There's only ONE Woodstock that happened 1969. The others were MONEY STOCK. My old boss BILL GRAHAM was at WOODSTOCK. There were a number of bands that if not for Bill Graham, would never have been there. Jimi was one of them. Bill also got a brand new band booked at Woodstock that had not yet been signed.. Santana. Those who were at Woodstock, thought it was a disaster, but NOTHING compared to the MONEY STOCKS.
@@burtreynolds3231 No I didn't Shawn. Nor was I, and the great majority of the other concert participants, contributors to how this show ended. I was there ... were you (?) There was clearly a lot of friction with the vendors and "some" of the concert-goers over the cost of their wares. At least in part, this is what led to the Sunday night shenanigans by a relatively small segment of the crowd. The disastrous ending might not have happened at all if someone in the crowd had not passed out candles during the Chili Peppers set. I think this show had its fair share of issues by the promoters. poor treatment of women, poor water supplies and showers, selfish and childish concert-goers and the security employed (also a function of the promoters). Even with all that, I believe this show has gotten a bad rap over the years. But that is a topic for another thread. i guess the real question Shawn is what does any of this have to do with Robbie Krieger. 😎🎶😎
Amazing how contemporary the song sounded in 1999. I think it"s partly the organ not being there. Don't misunderstand me, I absolutely love Ray's keyboards on all the original albums, but to me that sound instantly says "Doors song". Not having the key board gives the performance a more timeless feel.
It's a pity that Robby is without his Gibson SG. And people throw to him beer cans or smth... In stuff he was against the Doors set at Woodstock.. Shit, people. Morrison was responsible for his own, Morrison's drunken inability. Robby's forever!
It wasn't Morrison my guy. The doors all agreed not to do Woodstock because they thought it was a bad idea. They're disrespecting robbie because it's a completely different fan base and different music genre, also the fans are assholes who can't respect the band creed as a whole and what they want to do with THEIR stage time.
awesome to bring robby out....but typical modern music...... the instruments just drown out the voice.... in '71, you could HEAR Jim clearly............ overkill... sigh.
Not a link at all to Status Quo's version? They done it live since 1970 and on album in 1972, and this from 1984.. ruclips.net/video/aqmXoK93_NY/видео.htmlsi=cAPTeGhx44dsyCLf
Rhythm guitar up way too loud in the mix. I know there isnt a keyboard but it would have been better to hear more of the lead guitar than the scratchy rhythm.
My own opinion, Eddie Vedder does this song better, I love Creed I have all their C.Ds but that's my own opinion ✌️ if you haven't experienced the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Doors with Eddie Vedder, check it out. Again ✌️
I couldn't imagine bro.. Robby Krieger just showing up outta nowhere to play roadhouse blues is a dream
with an undertaker t shirt hahahahahaha
and in front of a shitty audience throwing bottles to the stage

Robbie Krieger was 53 years old when this took place, but those are rock n roll years so it's a miracle he was even alive
What are you talking about bro? He just released an album, hes like the most active doors member
He looks older
I'm happy to say I was there - 50 yards from the stage - for this performance.
Did you drop some acid before you burned the place down

cool !!
Thats cool man. This was our era. Did you get hit with mud?
@@ordinarypeteMore like, did you riot later that night?! 🤣🤣🤣
Robby Krieger with that undertaker shirt!
Seriously how cool is that
Lendário ❤
As soon as I heard Creed was coming back I came here and to think on the W99 anniversary!
Do it Robbie, do it!
You’ll never be as cool as Robby Krieger playing at Woodstock 99 wearing a Undertaker t-shirt.
Rock n roll will never die they just fade away
And it'll come back someday
Actually this is blues with a rock backing.
Doesn't even fade away! I'm from the original days and I've got grandkids jamming to these bands still. Never faded!
They just went out to have a cigarette!
As soon as resurgence Rock n Roll.. Just wait👍
Even as a star he is so humble that he puts his pick in his mouth like he's going to start another song, but hasn't decided yet.
Absolutely spectacular, Robbie Kreager is one of the greatest guitarists ever!!!
C'est normal il fait partie du meilleur groupe de tous les temps
I came straight to this video after reading it in Robby's book and I love that he's wearing an Undertaker shirt.
That's was good!
Robby showing up in yellow jeans with a tucked in Undertaker shirt had me rolling!😂😂😂
OMG he is wearing an Undertaker shirt!
Best cover.
Man I would’ve killed to be there!!! 🔥🔥

Touch me is the first song I think of when you mention Ray’s keys and that doors sound
Jim & The Doors... The Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stapp does a good job here 👍. Morrison would approve
Bullshit. Jim is inimitable.

Robby Krieger is a legend
W99 was the ultimate 'Roadhouse' - perfect!
This is actually quite impressive
You made it sound like it shouldn’t be.
La primera vez que vi este Show tenia 15 años y Scott me pareció el hombre más atractivo que haya visto jamás, ni hablar de su voz.
I was there. I remember ❤
i like Robbie Krieger"do it Robby! do it!"Jim Morrison said🤘
Actually according to Robbie's book , Trying to set the night on fire , Jim was ranking to session bassist Lonnie Mack. "Do it Lonnie ,do it "
just best single of all time
I feel bad that hardly anybody that was at Woodstock 99 knew or appreciated that someone from the Doors was there
Yeah because you have a deep understanding of all those MUSIC fans who were there.. asshat
Thanks youuuuuuuu yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
tremonti and krieger are legends.
It was fun.
There is an old Vulcan proverb. Only Creed could invite Robby Krieger to a jam session at Woodstock 1999.
Love it❤
Hermoso ❤ The Doors vivirá por siempre ✌🏻
Awesome 👌🏼
I was there!!!
3:00 How did they get that past the RUclips censors?
i have no clue
Se sente la magia .💯🥳🥳🥳🥳
The Undertaker Shirt!!!!
Purete...saludos desde Paraguay
Robby’s Undertaker shirt is the best. 90’s all the way baby
Una chingoneria 😅❤🎉 ésa rola
Robby Krieger wearing an Undertaker shirt?! You do not see that everyday & yet as a big fan of The Phenom, I'm marking out.
Tanta roba Robby,ma questo babbasone non si può ne vedere ne sentire..lunga vita al rock 'n' roll quello vero!!!
I'm here for Robby's book.Never cared about Creed but they did it quite good and Krieger is the guitar master
Wow krieger is alot better than I thought he was
Muy buena versión...
Wow dude creed got a lil more respect from me as if that means anything
epicoooo yeah estuviera ahii woow
How about that now !!! 🎤🎸🤙
Yes yes yes
Adoro quell'omino coi pantaloni gialli
I was there off to the left side car packed waiting for the red hot chili peppers to come on next and close the festival.
This vocal rendition is the SAME of the one played at the Rock and Roll hall of Fame with Eddie Vedder in 1993

It's a pity that Robby is without his Gibson SG.

If Jim Morrison is stil alive....no comparison
Robby Krieger the best musician ever
Undertaker shirt lol
awesome to bring robby out....but typical modern music...... the instruments just drown out the voice.... in '71, you could HEAR Jim clearly............ overkill... sigh.
Why is this.....kinda legit....?
Boss Tga Olongapo Kapit Bahay Namin Gagi Lopit
Don't know what is best: Creed having fun with the DOORS, or the half naked woman in the audience....... I pick the woman, of course. lol

Even with Robbie... this beautiful song loses all of its finesse and cool without Jim, Ray, and John.
They should have hired a keyboardist, it lacks the original Doors' feel
Why is Scott Stapp wearing on watch on both wrists?
One for Woodstock time, the other for Florida time?
why is he wearing a blouse?
did people just keep throwing trash up on stage throughout the set? lmao
Robby you can have the fattest wallet and I would still say NO
Revenge of the popular good looking ones (whole life) is happening
Это-ж какая молодежь необразованная, пока Кригера не представили, фиг кто догадался.
Rhythm guitar up way too loud in the mix.
I know there isnt a keyboard but it would have been better to hear more of the lead guitar than the scratchy rhythm.
Creeds best song. The only thing i dont like about this performance is the old guitarist. He sucks
Wtfff the doors better 100times than creed
If you compare this to the footage of any performance from the original woodstock this doesn't look good.
the creed guitarist's town is butt
Rob krieger doesn't want to jam with that band
I can see why
Lol wyyyyyy
I think he enjoyed it
Why do you say that? I can see that he does.
But he did and he liked
Boo

Very true.
It is not very often that any covers are worth mentions.
Nah
Nope
Sry bro being a musician , scott destroyed eddie.. accurate pitch .. maybe the piano missing makes you feel that way
Nooo!!!! Scott Better Eddy 3-0
lol The voice is Awfull..
i dont like it
The singing and distorted guitar fuck this song up.
That's not just a distorted guitar... that's Mark Tremonti!!!!!!...the only one fucked up is Scott Stap.
Absolutely rock and roll is on different level of melody and these kind of bands kill the beauty of an epic number.
Faaaaaaaacck!!!.... Now who faaaaaaaaccked who here? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Scott Stapp the perfect doors cover voice
