true, my friend got hacked 4 months ago and a hacker stole all his prictures and wanted Bitcoing for the pics but of course he gave non, i than adviced him to reinstall his windows completly clean instead he did in the settings factory reset.... of course his pc was still infected after that and had the same problems

No. All but once, did I ever have to reformat a drive and reinstall the OS because of a virus/hack. I used removal guides for each virus/malware found that free tools couldn't remove and free tools like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, a free virus scanner like Kaspersky, AVG, Avira etc., Spybot Search and Destroy and Kaspersky TDSS killer for rootkits, Hotman Pro and Emsisoft Emergency Toolkit. Change all your passwords (including router/network password) and you should be good.
If the attack has really damaged operating system files and really screwed things up or encrypted you files, or is unremovable like ransomeware, then you may have to reformat the drive, but in most cases it's not necessary. And I did this for a living for 23 years and still do the odd one here and there for family and friends and security and virus/malware removal was my specialty as well as hardware, which had always been my specialty.
Another pro tip, is if you have to remformat the drive, you delete all partitions too and do a cold boot, before making a new partition, so that you flush any viruses etc. out of memory too. Doing a warm boot can cause it to stay resident in memory and as soon as you repartition the drive, in will reinfect it.

I've even had users who were sooo clueless, they thought you didn't need a virus scanner, because "so and so told them they didn't need one", hahaha. I told them "so and so is so wrong it's not even funny. Not only do you need a virus scanner at the very least, but you need additional free anti-malware tools like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware too., Spybot Search and Destroy and Hotman Pro" and would put on some free, legitimate and good tools for them to use. Those people who did not have a virus scanner ALWAYS, always had the worst infected system of them all. Hundreds of viruses and malware.
ok, first off, whats with the purchased comments, secondly, from someone who actually knows....the IP he copied around 1:40 is a local LAN address. It's not connected to an outside network. The reason it comes up with microsoft from france is because...hey, this uploader is from france, and guess what, the local iIP he copied is a genuine microsoft service that is running. Is he serious? He googles and image of windows powershell and says that it's a hacker.....also, windows defender notifications is a default process that runs....its what makes the notifications pop up in the corner if windows defender detects a virus. As for the firewall section.....he never even clicked on the "advanced" window. Anyone watching and looking for advice I would go look somewhere else.

Very trivial information
The other night chrome opened on my desktop. It stopped my delta/theta wave video I listen to while sleeping. Then the mouse started moving & opened Amazon looking through user names/passwords. Tonight about 20 minutes ago my crypto account opened (kraken), PayPal etc. It was clear someone was screen sharing my PC looking for ways to scrape money passwords etc. I took control of my mouse & typed on the screen "stop fucking with my computer lol" and everything stopped. So I opened control panel & turned off network sharing. What else should I do because I don't know anything about this stuff. Also looks like I'm about to go down a rabbit hole of cyber security & ethical hacking from here out. And can anybody do this from any distance or is it someone nearby where I live?!

Do not use your computer with an admin account. Use it with a normal user account.

The all-powerful local admin access allows hackers to bypass critical security settings, delete system logs, impersonate other logged-on accounts, run exploit code or tools, and eventually gain access to sensitive data. If the system runs applications with system privileges (typically scheduled tasks running applications and processes), attackers could simply attach malicious software to the existing applications and run them silently. If your computer is compromised, and it is not on an admin account, you will have to enter a password to make any system changes. So you know your computer is compromised if suddenly the window to enter a password pops-up. While on an admin account, you would not have any clue as the only time you would have to enter a password is when you log into the account.

The firewall settings of your Windows computer don't protect you.
It's not about "transacting" which can happen anyway.
You don't see your internet browser listed there for example.
What the firewall settings ensure, is that a (trusted) service, listening for clients on your PC, can't be accessed by a malicious actor from the outside.
(for example, so that someone can't connect to the "Your Phone" application over the internet or public Wi-Fi and potentially abuse vulnerabilities from there to engage in malicious activities)
It does not protect you from any other application that is not considered to listen for clients, but connects directly to a malicious server.
(Basically, if you actually found a malicious application there, which I doubt, because it would just name itself like any other legit application,
then you'd also only ensure, that your PC is not a "command and control" main server, which is very very unlikely in any case. Or if the campaign uses a decentralized approach and every infected machine becomes a gateway to an infected network, which I don't think is the common approach)

If you have a windows computer it is constantly talking to microsoft even with the browser closed. If that doesn't count as hacked I don't know what does.
Get yourself some nice Linux with no telemetry. Mint or Debian might be best .

I was illiterate on these things too until I started playing with raspberry pis. I find it is much easier to see what is going on and where the files are on a Linux box.

192.168.x is usually routed to your PC/home network. it's a normal gateway for your PC, it doesn't mean you're hacked lol.

Well yeah, cause who writes viruses and malware for Commodores? Lol. Most are geared toward PCs and Windows. Even Linux and Mac don't have as many viruses, although with Mac it has risen with their increased popularity, but it's still nowhere near what is out there for PCs and Windows.

One thing for sure is that if Microsoft is connected to your computer, you are being hacked (telemetry). 😁
The you delete Windows telemetry, lol. Not much uses it anymore anyway. Most apps and games etc. have their own telemetry. I deleted Windows telemetry months ago, no issues at all.
If you see a Windows logo you know you are compromised. This isn't rocket science.
