Muse actually have quite a few heavy songs, and these are just the ones off the top of my head.

For Muse you've got to do live stuff, their live usually sounds better than the studio versions. Try 'Assassin' at the Mayan, 'Plug in baby' in Rome 2013, 'Stockholm Syndrome' in Glastonbury 2014 or 'Hysteria' in Wembley 2007.
Assassin has to be the shittiest song continuously recommended by RUclips dwellers. Just go Micro Cuts, Megalomania, Stockholm Syndrome, Hyper Music, The Groove and Fury.
Damn, but why do you recommend recent live performances of early period songs? Live Muse between 2000 and 2004 was wild, and there is no point in recommending powerful old songs like Plug in Baby, Hysteria or Stocholm Syndrome played after this period.
And the best version of Assassins is at Shepard Bush in 2006.

Try and react to the live versions if possible as they truly rock when they play live

Reminder that Muse always sound better live. Personally I love songs like Dead Star, but not a fan of their studio version for many reasons. More used to Matt's deeper voice from recent years, not a fan of the guitar tones used back in the day, the all "we have more" thing where they'll play at the end of certain songs in live, riffs from bands they love like Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine, etc or even riffs from their work.

My #1 song of all time is from them and it's a rollercoaster of a song and it's a song that didn't hit like the rest in the album but for me it's the best one "Darkshines" react to that one, and if you do, do the live performance video from the Hullaballoo Soundtrack, AMAZING!

fantastic reaction hoopsick deadstar by muse was the first song that introduced me to the band back in the day when the song got played on mtv2 & kerrang tv the song was a massive success & shot the band into mainstream stardom you should definitely checkout the b side single to this song called in your world aswell as other songs from the band's catalogue such as new born bliss citizen erased apocalypse please time is running out & butterflies & hurricanes all fantastic songs by this band keep the reactions coming bro well done.😀🤘🔥
Amazing song, really shows how dirty Muse can be. The entire Origin of Symmetry album is amazing, it's got some massive guitars as well as stuff like Hypermusic which isn't as heavy but absolutely bangs.

This is the Muse I know, Uprising etc is late in their discography for me. Shame you didn't listen live, missing out.
Right? I totally thought they became widely popular with their first 3 albums already, long before Uprising and Madness. And I didn't think they did those songs for popularity, but simply because they felt like doing something different. They would always go back to their heavier roots every now and then anyway ... they're simply diverse.
@@andyjakeschvlog guess it depends on when you're exposed to the band. They may well have done Uprising in the way they did to get a more mainstream wider audience but they're definitely also known for, and not opposed to venturing into other genres and styles to keep their music fresh.
