this is a good idea but my account has like no information so it says not enough so can u let me know what to do.
Only gives me an option to send code to a number that I haven't had in 6 years. Doesn't give me an option to use email for verification. Anyway to get code sent to email on this situation

@@DelttaGaming it wasn’t it was on my dads phone recovery now idk fricking how it’s on another phone they hacked and changed that to I am going to tell my dad to verify his number that’s on that account..

The code can only be sent to security email or number that was place on the account, in case you can no longer access the security info, you will need to fill up the account recovery form...

@@DexterTutorials yes, it sends me a code to my email. Prompts me to fill out a form, then in 24-48 hours they'll get back to me. Normally it never works. I would love to be able to talk to a human at Microsoft.
@@DOA_DawnBreaker I do not think you can.. You can try to complete the form as you have nothing to loose. I know this 2 factor authentification are a pain... but it keeps the accounts safe.

Carnt reset mine every time I try it wants to send me a code via a new email address and create a new account and when ever u try and create a new account it wants to send u a code when setting up to the new email account that's not evan been finished creating hows that possible

@@iffahazizan8620 After getting no help anywhere I ended up pulling out the hard drive and connecting it to another computer via USB and got all the files from there. Reinstalled the hard drive and just reset it back to factory, hope that helps.
If you have files on the computer i can suggest to get the harddrive to another computer. This way you can access that data. Also you can try login with the recovery mode
@@DexterTutorials I just ended up removing the hard drive and connecting it to another computer and then just restored it back to factory. I found out it was running Windows 8.1 so upgraded to Win 10.

i do not think so. Only way to do it is to contact Microsoft on contact form. Maybe they will send you some questions and you can recover with them
im having the same issue where i forgot my hotmail password but im still logged in on my iPhone (outlook app) whenever i press forget password it doesnt show me the option to send a code to my hotmail it just shows me a form to fill with questions such as name last name birth date country etc.. what can i do?

Why when i press forgot password it sends me to this page "Recover your account" but not like u when u just need to verify your identity with a code and is done, is so easy for u, but for me is hard on that "Recover your account" page bcuz is asking me to put many information like name, old passwords, birth date, country, emails that i send to friends and more stuff, idk what to do.

then you can try to contact Microsoft. But if you do not have that email or cell number, then how can you justify that is your account? You probably will not be able to recover it.

Probably because you tend to use the same passwords and of there is any leaks there might be some security problems.
