- Well, I really don't know what to say except that this took way less time than I expected it to haha
When Nim got the WR back, I was expecting it would take me atleast a month to beat. His run had incredible luck, along with a Radiant clip aswell so I thought it would be quite the run to go up against. But somehow, after only coming back just a couple days ago, I managed to get a bunch of really great runs (I literally PB'ed yesterday lol). This was only my 2nd run into Radiant that could've realistically gotten WR, and somehow, I managed to get a clip and clutch it out.
This run was pretty solid. The clip luck was super good and I honestly couldn't really ask for much better. The only major mistake was I didn't get the jump clip in Radiant, which lost me a couple seconds. That's honestly the only thing I'm dissapointed about, I'm just glad I was able to get the record back by a decent amount.

what CPU difficulty did you choose for the run? is there a speedrun standard difficulty?
@@aluigiFromKart I use easy in this run. In Any% No OoB, I use hard because of better CPU positions. Every other category I use easy

It tries to mimic the shortcut we used to exit the stage, but I haven't been able to do it under any circumstances.
Could you tell me how you do it?
Are you referring to when you exit the stage after a challenge race? For that you need to hold start while crossing the finish line, which will make the pause menu pop up and you can exit the stage from there.

If you're on Mac, this is your best option since Livesplit isn't supported by it.

Do you press
retire when beating a character?
Yes, you can buffer Start (basically holding it as you cross the finish line), so that the pause screen appears on the first frame of the victory screen. That way I go to retire and save time from not having to watch it.
And yet nobody is trying to speedrun the Saturn version... understandable.

What version of the game is this? I believe it is PC non updated but im not sure.
Nah, this is the Gamecube version that came on Sonic Gems Collection (hint the "GCN" I put in the title, since versions are split up for this game's leaderboards)
