Working remotely is a reality for a lot of people. But did you know your employer can keep tabs on you through your computer? When there's inactivity on your computer employers probably assume you're not working. But there's an easy way to trick your employers software and that's by using a mouse jiggler. Also known as a mouse mover.
This one is from Vaydeer. It has a rotating disc on the front which your mouse can track. Then on the side are the power and mode buttons plus LED indicators. It's very basic and the only things it comes with is the charging cable and manual. But in this video I'll give you a demonstration on how it works.
First just connect the mouse jiggler to your computer's USB port. And immediately the disc starts spinning. But the juggler can be shut off with a press of a button. The LED indicators on the side show what mode it's in. The duration of the disc motion can be set to 10 seconds, 30 seconds and 3 minutes with the press of a button. Despite the name, the mouse jiggler doesn't actually move the mouse. Instead, the mouse detects the rotation of the disc and moves the cursor on the screen. All it does is rotate one way, stop, and then rotate the opposite way. So all you have to do is place a mouse on top and it's ready to go.
It's fairly small so it shouldn't take much room on the desk. It's quiet and practically unnoticeable. You can use this to simulate activity in programs like Outlook and Teams or other software that sends feedback about whether your computer is idle or not. So if you need simulate activity on your computer, The Vaydeer mouse jiggler is what you need. I'll list this in the description so it's easy for you to find.

I just read that a dozen Wells Fargo employees were fired "stimulation of keyboard activity.' In other words, they were using mouse jigglers, and the bosses figured it out..
Yes very true, granted we don’t know if they were using the application version , usb version or the physical mouse jiggler
They were probably using software, which is easier to detect than this thing
Hey there! Thanks for sharing this review of the Vaydeer Mouse Jiggler. It seems like a handy tool for those of us working remotely. I'm curious, though, how effective is it in preventing the computer from going into sleep mode? Does it work seamlessly with different software applications? Your insights would be greatly appreciated! 🖱💼
That is exactly what this is for.
Don't connect it to your computer. Use a wall outlet instead.
Yes this is good advice! That’s what I should’ve advised viewers to do instead of plugging into the computer!
Plug into another USB not your pc
Why?
@@kianferris7057use common sense they can detect the usb
Is it detectable since you’re plugging into your computer
It is, just get a battery operated one instead
Or you can plug into a USB port and not your PC
Anything that cheats a corporation out of its money is a good thing
And when they fire the employee who is cheating them, that is a better thing.
Don’t be time thefting from your corporate overlords
@@r.duroucher225first of all it is almost impossible to have tasks in queue unless ure first tier of IT, aka service desk or support desk. I dont want to put my damn password each time my laptop closes and start to connect again to my virtual machines only cuz i was not sitting at laptop to move my damn mouse without a specific task to solve lol
This wouldn’t work at all at my job. They can see/record your screens. I’d get caught ASAP even if it was just a battery powered one that doesn’t connect via USB - which is also traceable BTW
Sounds like a shit job, they don't know how much work is getting done that they have to record your screen
If your corporate IT is doing screenshots every 10 minutes, like many firms are, you will be fired instantly...better to be fired for slacking than for time-theft through fraudulent means.
Anybody else ended up here because of the Wells Fargo incident?
Haha , yes . I didn’t know what the heck a mouse juggler is , lol . I’m in construction so I don’t care but I used to work for Chrysler financial and sitting at a desk sucks
can itnot be done simply with a software script which is run indefinitely in the background?
if they are tracking your screen activity its also likely they tracking what software you running
My mouse have dust, it's all that You need to make the mouse move 😅😂 that and a low battery
If your employer really wants to track you this method and any others like it for that matter are easily traceable. USB port usage can be tracked and is in some cases to prevent data theft. And since the mouse movement is not that random and stays in a certain area that's easily tracked as well. The best case scenario is to just do your work on time and discuss productivity policies with your employer.
You can use a usb port that is separate from your work computer.
@@MegaFinalRound can you elaborate?
It’s not to cheat an employer .. when you have three computers and one is set to lock every five minutes while you ate in the others it helps .some of us do the work but the way they have time sensors is unrealistic
@@Blessedtruly3000 Yes agreed. I'm not sticking up for this. I think it's rediculous and controlling to monitor people in this way.
@@Blessedtruly3000 that should be a power setting you can disable usually
Not everyone is a program coder. Suggest something for those who are not from IT.
What about taking of the sleepr mode on the configuration of the pc!? For real!? Waste of resources…
This is for work laptops that do not allow to chsnge duch things
Save money and just code it. Took me 2 minutes using the Go programming language.
work computers wont let you install any software so you cant code nor run script easily
Any piece of script/ code running in the background can be tracked by the employer and may fire you for this.
I got fired for getting fired😅
I thanks don’t wanna be fired
How its can help??
That funko pop looks like Stalin.
My zip is the same 60178
Slackers!
