About Jurrion, it felt like Jared was implying he might be a bust on the last pod. But I think it's just a little bit more of, like Matt said, Oregon just has the depth now to where 5 star status doesn't matter. You play when you're ready. Combine that with a missed year last year, this is basically his Freshmen season in terms of getting reps and being able to put together the college game. I think his time will come if he sticks it out. And for Sadiq, I think they are "struggling" to find where to put him because he must be showing enough pop in practice to where the coaches feel like they have to get him onto the field. A Swiss army knife if you will for the offense. But where does he fit? The receiving room is stacked. Ferguson is an elite pass catching tight end. Herbert is a better blocker. So it's about getting him touches where they can. And then maybe as conference play progresses he can fill a jumbo receiver role, or a pass catching TE role based on matchups and or injuries. But they don't want his first snaps to come when they need him, as opposed to touches now so he's continually exposed to the speed of the college game. Great work fellas
Noah looks as good or better than last year - maybe the stats don’t tell the tale right now, but he’s shown his explosiveness. Also we’ll learn way more in the next 3 - 5 games about where this team is at. Limited touches and one decent showing by our offensive line is not exactly ideal for Noah, but he’s still got that it factor for sure.
For fun I looked at next year's schedule and it's even easier than this year's schedule. Only tough game is Penn State. Could be another deep run as long as Dan and Co keep the talent coming in.
I believe that the reason for the limited RB’s could be due to the lack of blocking this year. Not just the offensive line but the tight end group. And Jordan might be the only one they feel can make something out of nothing. And last again if you wanted to look at cause or correlation but when Charlie is at center unfortunately I think he is the cause for the poor line play.
You guys going hard on two guys coming off big knee injuries lol. James has always been better than Noah IMO but easing Noah back off ACL is smart. Especially when the blocking was terrible. And Dickey not sure how he was supposed to really get it going when he was pretty much out all year with a knee injury. He could get a jump on learning the offense, yes, but how many reps did he really get? I have torn an ACL and yes it heals just as good but it will never be the same if that makes sense. Just like having a baby (not like guys know😊) you are back down to the same weight but your jeans will never fit the same.
Damn Guys. This offense is an embarrassment of riches. There are only so many snaps to go around. I think they’re doing a damn good job spreading the wealth. DG is already spreading it better than Bo.
How awesome would it be for Oregon at a 5 or 6 seed to host USC as an 11 or 12 seed in the first round... like a bad penny, even in a year when we don't have them on the schedule.
You guys are on to something with the tight end position and Kenyon S. He is not really a tight end is he? And we didn’t think he would ever be a Big10 level tight end. Let’s call him a receiver. Which means we need to upgrade tight end recruiting and depth
wait you do realize our first 2 games went down to the wire lmao your snap count for backups won’t increase literally the opposite ik you both have 0 clue what’s going on and are trying to compare patterns for everyone and everything when that’s just not how this staff operates ever year is different
That first pass that Moore threw against OSU was incredible. The velocity and effortlessness was elite.

The Ducks are getting stronger with every game. I like that trajectory.
Dickey is a great human being. He’s going to be okay. He’s waiting for his turn.

Highly likely the 12 seed will be a G5 team

Well that was a for sure thing entering the 2025 recruiting season. It continues to be so. Luckily the transfer portal cures a lot of ills.
@@chrishull7174 I was just thinking how funny it would be if Moliki Matavao transferred back to Oregon as a senior
Go Ducks!!!

Eh, it seems feasible for backups to get decent play time the next 2 weeks
