New editing software was a massive pain to figure out (Davinci Resolve, coming from Hitfilm Express), but considering the massive increase in available tools, I'd say it was worth it.
This is a remake of one of my previous videos, made to a higher standard of editing quality. Plus, I managed to S-Rank Armstrong without the wig for once.
Gameplay recorded on revengeance difficulty.

now I want an MGR mod that adds a DMC ranking system based on the rank you would get normally

2:10 is it just me or is the game synced really well with the music, the sword flying and landing and the slowmo sound just fits, aswell as the rest of the hand to hand fighting after.

A nice touch at 2:13 would've been when the Murasama gets knocked out his hands, the vocals go away, and return when he gets it back
There isnt a clear version of Bury The Light's instrumental, so it would have been worse to use one on it, kinda sad that no one has recreated an instrumental version of Bury the light yet

Bury the Light makes this boss fight so much more emotional for me. It might seem weird, but that’s just how it is. 4:44 is when it really hits home.
This is absolutely beautiful, and perfectly edited to fit each moment as if it was actually apart of the fight. This was beautifully done!

the most impressive thing in this video is using dynamic music with ranking system, right after that is this was done *on mouse and keyboard*
I played on keyboard, and blade mode is probably easier on a controller, but the rest is fine( except maybe the camera)
@@Guy-mh4xq The camera sucks on all versions due to poor speed management, too much automatic camera turns, and a targeting system that automatically switches to the least relevant enemy in range
i completed game with keyboard for first time and this was difficult, like, you literally cut away parry mechanic from game, but in the same time you are teaching, how to dodge every attack with only movement (i didn't knew about offensive defense skill)
also, i tried to do parry on my mobile (steam connect) and even this method was easier than on keyboard, like, it just feels that you don't even need to think about it, just put buttons and game will do rest for you

i hope that if mgr gets a remaster it gets a rank system like dmc so the higher your rank is the more gets added to the background music. S being the vocals.
There is a rank system, but nothing that chamges the music, I ak afraid.
Only the final rank after the encounter is displayed.
There is already a rank system, but that would be very cool.
The rank system should also affect some of your moves.

Unfortunately all the cutscenes in MGR are pre-rendered so any mods won’t show up in them
you could, however, make a Yamato mod for the HF Murasama blade, and that’d be as far as you could go in Raiden’s fight, because he doesn’t retain the gun-scabbard
Maybe in Sam’s DLC you could have both Yamato and its scabbard
