    That's insane how much of a difference from stock to the finished tune. 😳
    Well done! 😃👍❤🏍

      These bikes are extremely lean and held back drastically! Highly recommend getting them dialed in once the stock stuff is removed.

    Great to see how lean it is. So many people think it's self learning. I tell everyone they need a tune. Great work 👏🏼

    • @bailey9r
      @bailey9r 8 месяцев назад +2

      These things NEED a tune even if you leave everything stock. I'm surprised they don't burn a hole in a piston before around 20-30 thousand miles.

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes they are definitely NOT self learning/adjusting lol if anything they will lean back out if you try to put them in a healthy afr with the sensors all still attached and active. 🤙

      @@bailey9rHello, good day, I am new to motorcycles and I am thinking about tuning my motorcycle. Could you explain to me that I don't understand this thing about making a hole in the piston, why would that happen? Can you explain it to me

    Man it’s crazy how much new bikes are restricted from the factory! I bought a 2023 ZX-14R and have been stock piling parts this winter to unleash the beast this spring, can’t wait! Well done as always guys👍🏻

    I got a '18 mt10 a couple summers ago, 1kmi, practically new for $9400 at the time. Yoshimura 3/4 decat system, sprint filter, 2WDW flash. You cannot spend a measly $10k on any bike and have this much fun. It read 153whp, shorter wheelbase than not only a R1 but even it's little brother mt09. Yee-haw, I'm 63 and it's fun!

      I'm 53 and have owned a ton of bikes since I was 15. Bought a 22 MT10 last year. Most fun I've ever had .love it. Got a 2wheel dyno works tune last week and did a cat delete. More power than I'll ever need.

    Thanks Eric for flashing my MT-10 Friday. I got the filter in this am and the bike is rowdy! Much smoother as well. Chris

    Amazing between the weight reduction and massive HP gains. Love it 🔥. Also howdy from Clearwater 🫡

    You need to keep the servo motor pluged in because cruise control will not work. But otherwise, great tune.

    • @dg8062
      @dg8062 9 месяцев назад

      No, you don't have to keep servo motor hooked up. Have you ever heard of a "servo buddy?" Mine was flashed, then a simple $20 code reader will not only clear the codes but my cruise control works fine without the servo motor.

    • @jerebumber7291
      @jerebumber7291 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@dg8062 won't work on gen 2 models. Servo buddy only works on gen 1. Same with O2 sensors. You disable them in ECU but you have to keep them pluged in for cruise control to work.

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  9 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks for the info! I noticed on the new xsr900, cruise control is actually directly linked to the o2 sensor. You need to leave that plugged in on those models. Crazy how they route the electronics on these new bikes.

    • @Per4mance76
      @Per4mance76 8 месяцев назад +1

      Also the pair valve solenoid must be plugged in , otherwise cruise control doesn't engage on the 2023 MT

      Just got my bike tuned and the disabled o2 sensors and servo motor and I lost cruise control, what do I need to do/buy to get it back?

    My bike only made 148 wheel horse power :( Got an Akra Link pipe and Akra Muffler. Should I get it tuned again by someone else?

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  6 месяцев назад +1

      Eh dynos all read differently. If it feels super smooth down low going into mid range and top end pulls hard then I wouldn't stress it 💪

    • @Reivbv
      @Reivbv 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@provenpowercycles thank you for the advice man. I’ll just keep it as it is. 😁 great video by the way. I’m jealous, the results you gone on the tune were massive.

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  6 месяцев назад +1

      @Reivbv thank you. We try to be as thorough as possible when tuning. We can't physically change the setup (well, sometimes the owners are okay with us changing it up but most of the time we tune what they bring in to us.) so we do the best we can with what we have.
      I generally enjoy setting up the bike prior to it coming in so we can make sure the bike performs, sounds, and looks exactly how the customer wants it be. 🤙

  • @hanslefebvre4860

    When you guys mention you did a dyno tune, is that with something like a powercommander or was it a full ECU flash?

    • @hanslefebvre4860
      @hanslefebvre4860 6 месяцев назад +1

      Just realized that you guys did an ECU flash. Other question...I had heard that if I get the ECU flash, I will lose some of the bikes functions (ex. cruise control), is that true?

  • @makodoorfz

    How much can day temp humidity play into what a bike can read on the dyno hotter humidity play for a better read does it?

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  9 месяцев назад

      A colder less humid day will always make more power than a hot / humid day. Think of the bike as a person. Is it easier to work out in 100°F with 80% humidity or a 65°F with 25% humidity ? 🤙

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  9 месяцев назад +1

      With that being said. The dyno has a correction factor built into the program depending on your current weather conditions 👍👍

    If you want a cheaper d.i.y. upgrade just tune the CAT and tune it like i did. I got 156HP with it. ruclips.net/video/yM-kVt0Mszo/видео.htmlsi=pDltxgU8XdTBZixi
