I just bought this guitar last week. I'm so happy and proud to be a Martin owner. this guitar sounds better than any other I've ever played. $4000 was worth every penny.

I love the D-35 and still have the one I purchased in 1974. It is not my current "go to" guitar but it is featured as the center piece in my music room. This great instrument got me through many gigs and it still looks great after all these years.

Chris, my first Martin was D-35, I loved that guitar and purchased it in 1983. Unfortunately, and bad neck resetting forced me to sell it. I have a D-28, D-42 and loved these models but I miss my D-35 so I am giving some thought to the 50th Anniversary. Keep up the great work!

Thoroughly enjoyed the video. I have owned my D-35 for the past 47 years and as Dick noted in his comments, it is my "go to" guitar. I have only one rule that I don't use it for outdoor performances when weather is unkind but other than that I use whenever possible.

It's a beautiful guitar. I hope you folks make a video on the D 28 soon.

awesome little video on the d35! I just got my first martin, a 000-15m, and I am absolutely in love! I have been on a huge songwriting kick. You folks make amazing guitars.
If you have never been to the plant in Nazareth, Pennsylvania I highly suggest you take a trip. They have the awesome museum an amazing tour and the chance to play some really nice high end guitars (I absolutely fell in love with the ceo-6) and it's free!
Also I suggest at least taking a look at the old factory in town. We stopped and chatted a bit, with I believe Gail and Liz, about building our own guitars for a bit and they were very VERY kind and helpful. (Good thing too, trying to build a guitar in a tiny apartment may not be the best idea)
Happy Birthday D35! Can't wait to see what's next from Martin!

Great video! I just ordered an HD35 a few weeks ago that is being built. Will the HD35's have the same anniversary markings as the D35? Thanks!
