My bestest girl had to go to sleep so we all had strawberry jam pancakes and chocolate mini rolls. I’m sure she enjoyed it all before her big sleep. Hope your fine and hearty, thanks for all your work. 👏👏👏👏
🤣🤣🤣🤣 they all look so cool munching away - just to follow up from question. I moved one of the cages upstairs today....3hours to put it back together! (I was doing it on my own) 🤣🤣
Hey I have a question and I'm hoping you can help me. I have a vet appt on Monday. But outside vet given foods..........what kind of stuff can I mash together to give failure to thrive or possibly a tiny when they are exploring solid food eating. I'm trying to ensure this little one lives. I had two from my current litter and one is doing much better with the soy formula and seed mash/bread mash. But she isn't gaining or losing weight.
Generally a mixture of cooked carbs and protein eg cooked eggs and rice or cooked chicken and pasta works well. However if she continues not to grow at all even after a few weeks I did suspect there’s something more going on and the outcome may not be what you hoped. Unless there’s a chance of dwarf in the litter
Hi! I have a question about the tape you use in a lot of your videos. I was wondering if the tape (along with the toys) is safe to leave in a tank full time with mice? I'm not sure if you use those toys just when they come out to play or if theyre left in the tank. I have a couple really anxious mice that dont even like when i walk by their tank too fast, but i still want them to be able to play with toys even if they cant come out during playtime.
I’m afraid I am not a mouse expert. I do have a friend that is and she tends to say treat them as mini rats (to a point). I wouldn’t worry about using the tape in cage with rats
I currently have 12, so fairly low numbers for me (that was all of them). But due to get a pair of baby boys from Lovecraft in a couple weeks and then another round of litters hopefully in March which I’ll be keeping girls from all going to plan
So cute! Could I ask your advice on one of my rats? He’s got a tumour on his left back leg and my vet who’s got lots of experience with rats said to monitor it bcos it doesn’t bother him at all and he’s still running jumping eating and drinking fine. He said he’s willing to do the surgery to remove it cause he’s only a bit over a year old but he said rats are prone to ripping the stitches out and messing with it which means infections so do you think the surgery’s worth it? It’s got bigger since I took him a few weeks ago so I want to get another appointment so the vet can check it again but if it was one of your ratties what would you do? :)
If it’s growing at a reasonable rate I would probably get it removed now whilst he’s fit and well. They can chew stitches but if you check out my wrapping video in the health playlist there’s a lot you can do to stop that.
@@IsamuRatCare thank you so much! The wrapping video was great and I’ll definitely be using that :) and I’ve got a vet appointment tomorrow to talk about removing it
Just normal ones, that was what was left in the bowl once me and my husband had our pancakes. I should say it’s a crepe style pancake recipe rather than American style pancakes but the rats don’t care what kind you make (apart from sol
I do have 3 filmed I just need to get them uploaded but am having a bit of fun with my software. I will attempt to knuckle down and do it or use some different software. They will be a bit slower for a while as I’ve got a bit of a big project on though
Help 😢 what can I do about this? One of my rats has a bald patch on her head that looks red raw I think its over grooming but they have lived together for nearly a year without any issues. This is Rosie she is two years old a year older than her three companions.
It could be a skin infection such as staph, work getting her along to the vet to check it out but whilst you wait you can clean it twice a day with a diluted chlorohexidine containing wash like hibiscrub or diluted tea tree oil (1 part to 10 water)
Your videos have helped me to make my rats so much happier! Thank you for all the information, enrichment, and fun!
Sol is such a player! Love him, "hello ladies..." lol.
Sol doesnt need a pancake, because she's a beautiful pancake herself already.

Aww now I want to make my boys some pancakes. I'll probably add chia seeds to mine.
i have such a soft spot for fai after watching your video about her eye. lovely to see her looking healthy and happy
I have a big soft spot for her too, I wasn’t meant to keep her long term but she’s going nowhere now lol. I adore her
I've learned so much from your vids plx keep teaching us your knowledge of rats xoxo from Vancouver Canada 💕
Thank you this means a lot
Cute 🤍 beautiful little ratties 🤍

I'm in love!!!! 😍😍😍 Also, hope you're doing well :)
Yep doing a lot better thank you
I don't think any of my boys would choose anything over a pancake, lol
How many rats do you have now Jemma?

Hey that's how many I have. I won't be getting any more though :-P

Did you make a special recipe or just normal ones? Such beautiful babies 😍
